Let’s be real. They’re sitting in a single spot for hours at a time. It’s pretty obvious the devs recognize this type of behavior as an issue as well since they’ve already added guards at nightmare quest givers.
That is exactly how pvp works on a pvp server. Yes, this is pvp.
They added guards because people complained to no end. If you didn’t want to deal with pvp, you shouldn’t have rolled on a pvp server.
The only reason these degenerate tactics are being used and this is even a problem is because people complained about premades in phase 1 which killed battlegrounds, and blizzard nerfed STV honor from coins dramatically.
People are just moving to the most efficient way to gain honor. This isn’t a ‘pvp happened on a pvp server’ issue. It’s a game design issue.
Yes, I agree.
Speaking as someone that had to run the gauntlet of getting into Gnomer all last phase, I think I speak for all the horde here when I say:
“Shut it”
Oh you mean that area where you had a teleporter with guards?
No, I’m talking about the hallway 200 yards out of the guards range we had to run down to get to the portal where about 50-100 alliance camped the portal entrance 24/7.
Now again, shut it.
Considering that everyone in your party gets a rank downgrade from that… That’d be very, very funny.
You loaded into a completely safe area after taking the teleporter from booty bay.
No, I don’t think they will.
You’re comparing a teleporter to an instance portal, two completely different things. When horde tried to exit Gnomer through the portal to try and summon missing raid members, guess what? We got jumped before even loading in.
Now for the third time since your gnome brain is obviously deformed, shut it.
No, this is EXACTLY what pvp on a pvp server looks like. Deal with it.
They nuked the honor grind from STV. Its more efficient to gank lowbies at incursions.
Blizzard has ran this game for, what almost 20 years?.. Still can’t figure it out.
Well it certainly is a PvP happened on a PvP server issue, but hey I’ll definitely agree that Blizzard messed up. My only issue is that people who are upset, they want to punish the PvPers. PvPers are gonna PvP that’s why they signed up. Blizzard needs to make better content that doesn’t incentivize people to PvP in these zones.
Helpful hints:
- Don’t nerf the PvP zone and make it give less honor.
- Don’t give alternative pathways to get reputation with a PvP faction so people don’t have to wait during long queues
- Don’t bottleneck almost everyone on the server into 10% of a zone.
- Actually add new PvP content that will entice PvPers far away from the incursion zones.
- Actually care about your game in put some thought into the systems and how they interact.
If they follow these helpful steps, they might alleviate some of your pain. Remember the PvPers are doing what they signed up for, Blizzard is the one that ruined your fun.
OP is right
There is a difference between ganking which is fair play pvp, and camping, which is disruptive behavior
Sitting in the incursion turn in and killing the opposing faction over and over is disruptive and prevents gameplay
Doing it at portals like Mara scepter, same
Instance portals id suggest are slightly easier to work around
Pvp server or not you cannot disrupt somebody elses gameplay to the point where they cannot play
OP is WRONG
There is no “fair play” in a contested warzone bud. You will be reintegrated and murdered for your actions of being a member of the opposing faction!
If you can’t get into an instance portal that teleports you to an “instanced” location because it’s being camped then you chose the wrong color pill and there is no hope for you.
Yes you can that is what a pvp server is. Ask all the BUMS that failed to get DMF last night
This is a video game. The experience of the player matters more than your imaginary warzone.
What gauntlet? Are you on something? You can literally log skip to 2 feet in front of the instance. No one is camping the log skip, and no one is or was camping the Gnomer entrance. Fake news dood.
