My question is, how do you know you’re going to get this map? You can’t change spec from Tank to DPS in the BG prep room like we do in randoms, right ?

You can. Tanks can respec to DPS specs in pre-match room

you can swap both ways

So assuming in the queue up you need to select both roles?

Select Guardian. You can switch between DPS and tank w/o any problems.
I’ve never selected dps while going into the queue for an RBG.
It’s only healers that can’t switch.
