Raze bugs are being fixed as late as just a few hours ago. So far it’s still doing less dmg than it should, and hopefully that gets fixed. If it does get fixed, it could be pretty awesome for us. We’d have to wait and see the tuning, but the hopium is that it will stack up some pretty big ursoc shields.
The other really awesome thing is they made tooth and claw hit the whole pack. It’s still bugged and expending both charges, and still isn’t affecting magic dmg, but if both of those got fixed it could go quite a way in helping us survive.
I don’t think it fixes any of our fundamental issues and we will likely still be in last place. And most people on dreamgrove discord think our new tree might be more of a small nerf than a buff… but hopefully we can get some tuning too? A quick mastery adjustment? Hard to say.
This is such a tired old meme. They’ve never indicated that they make “entry level” roles, and it would be terrible game design if they did, especially for an MMO if they were making specs that stop being viable out of low level content.
The reason bear is “simple”, is that it’s a legion era rework that had a third of it’s rage dumps deleted, and most of it’s “unique” traits like high armor/health gutted with nerfs. Compare current bear to say, legion warrior, and it becomes pretty clear that it’s just that blizzard hasn’t assigned real dev time to bear in like 6 years. Beginning of BFA and shadowlands were “sorry bears, ran out of time”, and I won’t be surprised if the slight talent adjustment we are getting today, is the last “big” change we get for the rest of dragon flight.
If raze bugs were fozed then itll be good. If not, may aswell switch to a different tank.
Those bugs basically break raze.
Someone was reporting earlier that most/all of Raze issues have been fixed. We will see I guess.

Whoever did the bear changes I would personally fire if it was my company. Who spends 3 months to make it worse then before and then the dudes manager agree to go live with it. Both need fired. No one taking raze when maul does more damage (maul like 110% ap and raze like 70% or a** till at least 4 targets but also main target is 70% ap so outside multiples its just a nerf to maul), tooth and claw is only physical damage, Thorns of iron sounds great but oh no I cant take it cause if i don’t take galactic guardian ill have no rage to even use it, 20 point nodes in 3rd tier but only 10 spendable points eh? lock everything behind berzerk talents that make no sense and our only rage gaining abilities are locked behind crap I don’t want to take. Why do we need 3 dif berzerk nodes? you could cut the bottom 2 out and make it 1 in the top tier and move galactic guardian and blood frenzy in their place. Instead tho we can’t spec into rage building talents or at least not both morons. Some moron who don’t play guardian asleep behind the wheel. Like I said I would have fired them a month ago. I want a refund this is a**. Also that lunar beam is a joke and why have choice abilities when were only ever taking brambles and into the wildfire.
Yeah the Dev working on this change lacks vision for the class and fails to understand bears issues. It is so sad that they think what they created is acceptable and no one has told them otherwise. I do not think there is one bear player out there who plays at a decent level who thinks the new talent tree actually helps it in anyway. If anything, the new tree is a nerf with incarn nerf and the number of bugs with TnC.
lol… you go to a m15 plus and I guarantee bear will be the hardest tank you’ve ever played. Dying is easy.
ya man my bear is like 402 and under geared demon hunters have more hp? by like 10 to 20k? wheres the bear health pool to take the big hits? big issue is our dodge. You take our dodge and health away what can we expect? If ironfur increased dodge to 50% we would be comparable with ignore pain but at 402 I wanna say I have 18% with the extra 2% from racial. kinda A** considering I’m in full tier with Raz legs and over half heroic gear. i can dream about getting invited to mythic raids. should rename bear into cub. good ol cub form as of late.
Until you play a bear in 16+ you wont understand. all 20+ they spec into incarn cause outside incarn you’re a dead bear. While incarns up you can live 30 seconds at a time. Playing a bear you pretty much always have some type of cd up to stay alive. It is by far the hardest tank to play. I personally refuse to play without guardian of cenarius so I can insta cast huge regrowths on myself or another member for survivability. You cannot face tank any m+ packs outside some sort of cd or you’re a dead bear. So when I play my bear I’m also playing a healing mini game on a 20 sec gcd and timing rage spent for into the wildfire. I cant depend on any healers cause they wont be able to keep me up in almost full heroic gear so I have to help. any other tank in full heroic gear should not have these issues. Must be nice to just sit still with shield block and ignore pain in a +20 wearing no armor and timing it.

I never used it like that before the hard nerf. Single target got mangle mangle mangle while multiple targets got thrash thrash thrash.
So there isn’t one specific person who just works on bears or any other class spec, you know this right? It’s all overseen and has to be approved. It’s kind of a group project

Guess all the development teams should be fired based on threads like this?
If there is anything to complain about it should be communication. It really isn’t hard to write a monthly progress report, a state of the classes. Once a month is not much to ask considering the low effort they would put into it anyways (5minutes per class probably).
Heck it would give most subscribers something to look forward to on the “second Friday of the month” to calm themselves a bit knowing it’s coming on that day no matter what…
After spending a good 3-4 hours looking at the incoming changes to druid… I’m switching my main to either Priest or Monk. I feel bad for Druids because this changes every spec (except balance) for the worse. I didn’t except them to make Guardian worse than it already was.
Which is why the entire group should be replaced immediately.
Put the cafeteria staff in charge of class design. They couldn’t possibly do a worse job.

We don’t need more “communication”, we need people in there who will actually do a half-decent job, and - more important - actually finish their work instead of shipping unfinished classes and specs.
It’s 2 months since DF launched (3 months since the 10.0 talent trees) and Guardian STILL isn’t done? Who the hell keeps their job with that lack of performance?
I just don’t get these changes to guardian. Guardian’s biggest problem is horrible mitigation. Why did they just change stuff up for the sake of it rather than actually address the problem and fix it? It’s like if you hired someone to make a deck for your house and it couldn’t support more than 2 people on it at a time. Instead of putting reinforcements underneath to help it hold more weight, they moved the stairs to the other side.
