Blizzard won’t make a party keep a member they don’t want to play with.

As the others have said, you can be removed for any or no reason. Our Game Developers have given agency to groups to remove someone from a random group if they wish. That is intended.

Anyone, from any realm, has the option to use the vote to kick system. While we would hope that everyone would simply get along, we’re not going to micromanage player interactions.

Vote Kick

• If a player in your random dungeon/raid group is behaving badly, you can initiate a vote to kick the player from the instance and hopefully get a new player in to help you complete your run.*Keep in mind, others in your group will have to vote to agree with the decision to remove another player. If the vote is confirmed that person will be removed from the group.*This system uses majority rules and keeps track of those using it. If you use it too often, your ability to Vote to Kick may be hampered.

For Vote to Kick, it is majority rules, though character history on using the Vote to Kick system and if certain individuals queued together are taken into account.

As Leilleath quoted, using that system is not considered bullying or harassment. While of course we want everyone to get along, there will be times when a group doesn’t mesh. In those situations, we give some agency to the players in that group by allowing them to vote to remove another member.

The Vote to Kick system is entirely in the hands of the players involved. If they feel that they don’t want you on their team, they have the ability to remove you through a majority vote. That is working as intended and has zero GM involvement.

“Griefing” in and of itself is a little complicated, Christmasday, and generally means different things to different people. I’ll focus on the act.

You may, through PvP, kill the same character repeatedly. As long as they are flagged/in Warmode, and able to be attacked, it is usually not considered a violation to do so.

If there is some kind of bug or exploit that allows you to abuse a system, that might be something else entirely. I’d limit how often you “test” a possible bug so it does not look like you are trying to take advantage of it.

If you are colluding with the enemy faction that can fall into the area of win trading and would usually be considered a violation of our policies.

It is a bit complicated, Coldpaws, as there is often a misunderstand of what is considered griefing or what is zone disruption and what a lot of folks actually got in trouble for.

Repeatedly killing quest givers, generally isn’t a violation of policy. If the mob can be killed, we generally do not penalize someone for killing it. There are situations in which we may intervene, but they tend to be rare and extremely conditional.

Corpse camping or otherwise participating in PvP, regardless of the level disparity, is still just PvP and we have no policies against it. If someone is flagged for PvP, in War Mode, etc… they are free game.

Generally speaking, no, killing an NPC is not against policy. There are always exceptions to the rule, but they tend to be for more excessive and long term behaviors and most especially when a PvP resolution isn’t available.
