2H fury warriors use Arms spec for all content because it guarantees that you won’t be awarded 1H weapons in any PL setting. With this change, I’ll have to switch between fury loot spec in raids and arms spec in m+ or when looing the vault or I might be awarded a 1H, whih I do NOT want
This is what most people are looking for. It’s only fair. I am so sick of Blizzard doubling down on universally hated decisions - and then they wonder why people quit in droves.

Best update will be when Personal Loot is back on by default with the change allowing trading items without restriction.

Be fine for LFR/PuGs
Still prefer GL for guild raids.
how would this work for the set transmog collection /achievement. For example currently players would run LFR to collect the sets, but with this change If for example I loot a heroic chest from my vault I will never be able to get this collection unless say the slim chance the raid does not have anyone that needs the tier set.
Kaivax, thats an awful lot of work to put in to avoid implementing Justice Points or some sort of Justice Point like system.
Just implement Justice Points. Because Justice via points is better than no Justice at all.

Group loot should have never made it back in the game, it is not inclusive.

When it comes to tier and most armor pieces it feels fine, however the items usable by everyone like rings, amulets, and tri-stat trinkets you have no chance. Everyone rolls need on all of these items even when its not an upgrade; because they can.
I think the current iteration is horrible. My group has killed the first boss in Vault quite a few times both on normal and heroic and we have had quite a few times where the crossbow drops and there’s not a single hunter in the group. What is the point of loot at all if it’s going to just drop random crap that noone can use?

Bring back personal loot. Group loot sucks because not only it generates useless items no one in raid group can use, but also promotes toxic atmosphere in group and causes loot dramas, ninja looting by toxic guild/raid leaders, raid leaders refusing to invite classes that compete over drops and so on…

With hindsight, Personal Loot s the better option for anything BUT full Same-Guild Raids. And Raids of all the same guild should be able to use Master Loot. It is honestly madening that LFR also uses Group Loot. Like… WHY???

Cool, now I have to get another paladin to level 70 and run them through LFR to collect the transmog for the LFR tier set? Fantastic thinking on that one. Can’t wait to see all the complaints about how difficult LFR is now that transmog runners won’t be carrying 99% of the players who run LFR.
Why not… wait for it… add personal loot back for LFR only? I know it is such a wild idea no one has ever thought of ever.

So players who raid on a mythic level get punished and get zero loot for transmogs that they want because they play the game better then people who cant manage to figure out lfr mechanics but still want loot after i out dps them with auto swings for the first 3 minutes of the fight. legit a joke and no one will be doing LFR on the mains with this change. looks like ill level a new rogue with basic gear just for the mog and weapons - ez solution and will still need everything. if anything it just makes it more difficult for everyone else since mains arent going to be carrying with ilvl / damage GG blizz terrible “fix”

To be honest, they should have fixed transmog a long time ago… An item should be giving the current appearance and all of the ones below it. Otherwise, with the current system, it’s impossible to get loot on alts because people be rolling for mog… It’s ridiculous…

Get rid of this system in LFR already. You added personal loot to LFR originally for a reason. I mean I want it gone entirely and hope the devs accept this was a stupid idea by 10.1 but common sense is don’t have it in something like LFR.
