Group Loot in Raids

The terrible change is already in. My guildie who was carrying LFR couldn’t roll need on plate shoulders he didn’t have the transmog for so he just left. INC all the forum posts of people complaining about people dropping LFR mid-group and the LFR bosses being too difficult cause no one is carrying.

Is there a corresponding change where getting a tier piece unlocks the xmog for equal and lower quality pieces?

You just removed players ability to get xmog in the different set colors.

Please do something to offset this as suggested.

Blizz’s response will be “The new changes are working fine, just make an alt character to run the LFR raids to get the transmogs or wait until next expansion so you can solo-queue LFR”

It’s lame and always has been. There was nothing wrong with personal loot in LFR and it never should had changed. Once Hogwarts Legacy is out, I’m done with WoW for good. I’ve been playing WoW since 2008 and I never liked group loot. Early group loot was a nightmare due to ninjas. Then they started to improve upon it.

Then personal loot came out and I found I was getting loot a bit more frequently and my alts were gearing up quicker. I loved it. I felt I was actually being rewarded for my time spent killing a raid boss. Blizzard decided to **** all that away, which is something they’re very good at. I hate rolling against 11-12 other plate wearers for some gloves or some shoulders.

If it’s even soloable… Remember, it has to be 2 expansions old to be soloable. So says Blizzard’s stupid logic.

Only thing nice about the group loot is you can trade higher ilvl pieces that are bad. Otherwise personal loot was superior

And that’s assuming they don’t mess up and do what they did for BFA where it’s still not considered legacy content because reasons

How will this impact players who are in lower difficulties than the ones they are supposed to be in and are only there for the mog?

Back during SL S4, the Creation Catalyst gave me the LFR mog appearance when I tossed an item from a +2 key into the forge. Assuming it works the same in DF, a lot of you guys are getting way too angry over this. Not saying I agree with the direction loot systems are going in DF, since this whole group loot debacle would still apply to getting the weapons. I’m hoping there could be a compromise to make getting the set easier for those who don’t like M+, or just a better loot system in general. :dracthyr_shrug:

Please just bring back personal loot. The number 1 issue we had with personal loot was the rules around trading. If all loot is fully tradable and personal loot then you don’t have any of these weird rules and conditions on whether or not I’m eligible to roll need. I need transmog sometimes more than I need gear.

If that creates an issue of “too much loot” (fun detected), then just reduce the amount of loot dropped. Even Personal loot without full tradability is far superior than group loot with numerous conditions and strings attached.

Loot rules should be decided upon creation of the group.
When the group leader creates a group they could set the loot rules to free for all, or personal.

Guilds could continue with Group, Pugs could have either. LFR should always be Personal and any Raids formed in LFG the UI would show what the loot rules were for that listed group allowed players to make their own decision on if they wanted to sign up or not.

Loot rules created this way cannot be changed until the entire group disbands.

Easy Peasy.

You don’t think people will be mad when someone very geared wins an item with PL and refuses to trade it because they want the mog?

That they feel the “deserve” more than the geared player?

You asked for our feedback, we are giving our feedback: We do not want group loot (Except maybe as an option for guild groups). We want personal loot back.

The way Legion did it was best. Personal loot for LFR and pugs, with other options for guilds. Loot was also more plentiful.

The current system actively discourages you from running higher difficulties if you want transmog from the lower difficulties.

Personal Loot never guaranteed you jack. Stop with this lie.

Not just bonus rolls. 1 bonus roll per week, and it has a 100% to give an item.

As opposed to having a very geared person win a roll lol…
Sorry but this system was trash back in the day and this new iteration is trash also.

Also, there will always be someone complaining… especially if Blizzard intends on trying to reinvent the wheel. Just keep it simple, let people get some cheese and keep people happy.

Who cares?

They won that gear fair and it belongs to them.

No one else is entitled to it so if they get mad over it then that is their problem.

This has been reported for a month now, why did it take so long to be addressed?

So you guys don’t care at all about transmog farmers, I guess? I hated losing the tier tokens to people who just wanted them for mog, but it’s still something they should be able to do.

Scrap Group Loot in LFR.

Listen to your Players. Bring back Personal Loot to LFR in 10.0.5.

Also, I love that you guys say the Community Council was to get focused feedback, but the CC players that actually run LFR are telling you we need Personal Loot back, but all that feedback is being ignored.

Should have that apply to GL then as well?

Someone else won a roll, get over it. No one else is entitled to it so if they get mad over it then that is their problem?
