Grobb is low, but how low is low?

I am certain that even tagged as “low”, Grobby will have a solid core of steady players that will likely result in daily queues once layers collapse.

I feel like that’s an issue when you have multiple realms of differing time zones, but being as this is the only RP-PVP realm there should be little to no issue with time zone.

Chill… The game hasnt event started yet. Not everyone cares about reserving a name or would sub just to reserve a name

It’s not “low” either. There isn’t a lot of people right now claiming names on it. It will be lower than Herod, but I guarantee it will still be a high pop realm.

I would wager a LOT of people who though they were rolling characters on Grobby did not notice that they had actually been redirected to Atiesh, and will probably have their heads explode when they attempt to log in closer to release. A number of folks in a couple of my discord channels were having that happen repeatedly. Something was really bugged and I am a little shocked that blizzard is not getting heat from it.

Happened to me. I ended up making a toon on Myzreal for some reason… Deleted and moved on.

I got redirected to Atiesh 4 times. It was crazy. Finally managed to get onto grob after 40 mins.

This!! Thank you Fen.

All this hand wringing over time zones as if things where stuck back in 2004. All realms are going to have a good mix of people from many time zones. You will be able to find a raid to fit your needs.

You’re not taking into account people’s work schedules and the common shifts most people work.

I reserved a toon on Grobbulus, just in case it turns out to be a really fun server.

I’m interested in the RP aspect, but not sure how well it’ll play out.

Worth a shot though.

I don’t understand your point, tbh. There is one RP-PVP server. The timezone of the server is irrelevant when there is only one choice of server.

There WILL be people from your timezone playing on the server.

East Coast and West coast people have nothing to complain about. If we want to hear from a group that had to suffer for years it’s our brothers and sisters from down under that had to play on our realms when EVERYONE EST and PST where in bed.

Allow me to give you an example. Jim work 8am to 5pm EST. Most guilds will raid approximately 8pm or 9pm PST on a PST server. That means 11am or midnight start times for Jim. He works at 8am. Not going to happen for Jim.

There won’t be. Most of are going to Herod.

Its lower than you think

What part of Low Pop has you confident of that?

Calm down Death Knights.

Only 10-15 layers

All low pop means is that there were about 2-3k people trying to create character names at any one given time… and most people were logging in, creating, then logging out…

Grob is fine.

I think Rp and Rp-pvpers servers will have the least amount of tourists anyway.

There’s one server. There will be guilds raiding at all times convenient to whatever time zone you are physically in.
