Grizzek and the scarlets (spoilers)

Seems the scarlet crusade hates the alliance

The only thing that matters is Grizzek and Saffy now have models and their adventure continues.

Praise the Light.

Now now, they aren’t the Scarlet Crusade. They’re the Scarlet Brotherhood. Totally different.

I bet they don’t even have a Dreadlord!

a scarlet is a scarlet, and they insulted the one true king, they must all perish

I’m not sure calling Anduin “awful” is an insult worthy of genocide, but okay.

Those books are rather interesting. Especially the last one.

  • The Traitor King: The AWFUL King of Stormwind has betrayed us all!"
  • The Cursed Old Wolf: “The MONGREL King of Gilneas can be of use to us!”
  • The Would-Be Queen: “Our beloved princess has been transformed into a CORPSE BRIDE!”
  • The Last Menethil: “The Menethil Dynasty will yet ENDURE!”

Either the Scarlets are aware Calia has a child, or something else is afoot. Still, should be interesting to see where this all goes.

That remains to be seen.

This implies rumors are spreading as to her undead state.

A good point. I wonder if Sylvanas has heard those rumors or not. I think this does lend credence to the theory that Calia is staying at Uther’s Tomb. She’d have to be close enough for the Scarlets to have an idea she’s around, and know she’s undead now.

Interestingly, it seems being Lightborne Undead does not make a difference to the Scarlet Crusade. I hope the actual reading portion of the item gives us some idea as to how the Scarlets feeling about the Light being used to create undead.

Part of me suspects it’ll be a tongue-in-cheek jab at player reaction to the whole thing.

How is there any incarnation of the Scarlet Crusade left after the repeated beatings they’ve taken from both factions since WoW’s start?

I guess all it takes is for one or two leaders to survive and start recruiting. But still.

I love it! Realistically the SC probably has no business still being in the story, but it makes a lot of sense, if Sylvanas no longer has a stronghold in Lordaeron, that they would see an opportunity.
I can’t wait for them to raise hell in Stormwind or something like that. Calia had to backfire on Anduin somehow. Maybe they will rile up the people of Stormwind against her so she will know what it’s like to really be forsaken.

Either that or they have infiltrated the Netherlight Temple and found out that way, OR maybe some of the Crimson Pilgrims are part of this Scarlet Brotherhood. She could be around Uther’s tomb, but why leave the Netherlight temple? I mean, I wish that place would crash, or Velen would commandere it from the priests, but she probably still goes there.
Edit: Maybe she doesn’t. There are forsaken priests in Netherlight, and maybe she doesn’t want Sylvanas to find out?

Someone new wanted to start a ruckus and decided to pick an old but familiar name to draw attention.

It’s a tactic as old as time.

I wouldn’t be surprised, it was done in the middle of the priest hall with probably a lot of people seeing it.

Is he still considered a dreadlord? I don’t feel much dread

Honestly, probably not… but “hopelord” doesn’t sound very cool. He’s still a Nathrezim though, so he’s got to have some of that dreadlord sneakiness about him.

so these guys would come from the alliance right?
