Or they can you know, put sockets back into professions to allow everyone to get them when they need them, and most importantly, allow for more customisation on their gear like it used to be rather than having to run X content for Y currency just to even be given a chance to do Z content for the same upgrade we used to have, but now there is also a chance you will simply fail.
These are the reasons why Blizzard never make any meaningful changes that benefit the players and why sometimes they never listen to feedback, GD comes along and just goes âOh you donât like it, too bad, just donât do itâ.
And worse is when a DH is saying it because they can do pretty much everything easier than most given how simple their spell kit is. My druid has like 30 spells I need to work through my rotation for varying situations, that makes it very difficult to do something like visions solo.
I mean, Iâm not saying itâs a good system for sockets, but doing something you hate isnât going to help. Just stop doing it and donât feed into their metrics.
Iâm sorry it is a grind, but I am happy I opted out early on working for sockets. Just the cost alone which magifies the core âvessel grindâ system⌠that is just so much un-fun on top of un-fun on top of un-funâŚ
just to get 0.01% more effective in the fun part of the game⌠that you forgot you just didnât do for most of your time due to the grindâŚ
So donât run them, that is your choice. Sockets are a huge power gain and we should actually have to put forth some effort at some point in this gameâŚ
Not in the least, as many many guilds have cleared all that without having extra sockets. Theyâre a bonus.
Getting a bunch of sockets isnât going to help you get past 3/12 mythic, if youâre still 3/12 a this point in the expansion thereâs a lot more you need to work on than sockets
If youâre .1% from killing nâzoth, sure, some sockets could help.
