The whole point of them releasing classic is that you get to experience WoW before all the bells and whistles that made everything easier and fair. Blizzard never argued that this was a perfect system, in-fact they changed everything about how it works.
This is classic, thats how it worked, giving blizzard a hard time about something they’ve already ‘fixed’ is kind of missing the point of classic
Random loot is random.
Random loot is not fair.
Random loot does not follow superstitions.
Random loot does not factor in player performance.
Random loot…is in fact…random.
i wouldn’t go that far. RNG is RNG and loot based games tend to go that route far more than any other method. don’t expect much sympathy on an issue like this in this forum. though many could increase their vocabulary to have a more civil discussion.
this kind of issue is why its nice that classic isn’t going anywhere. with the options given for tbc in the survey, you’ll be able to keep farming it more or less indefinitely. as long as the people are there.
and of course classic has flaws. its doesn’t change that many people prefer what classic is over what retail is. not everyone has to prefer retail and not everyone has to prefer classic. and guess what, we have both options now. what a wonderful thing.
Go to google and find facts. Legendaries in Legion were a random drop and the single legendary in BFA was a series of quests that about a hour without the skips if you’ve done it on that account previously.
ARTIFACTS were given out after about a series of quests that took about 30 minutes depending on class.
I know you don’t like retail but at least get the facts straight before opening your mouth.
you obviously didn’t visit the forums back then. It was fully of the same stuff we see now. People asking for changes, loot issues, character issues etc… here you are again talking out of the bottom hole instead of the correct one.
Since about October 2019, our guild has seen:
5x Garr Bindings
1x Geddon Bindings
5x Eye of Sulfuras
Since BWL released, we have never seen a single Robes of Transcendence (T2 Priest). In effect, we have a higher drop rate of Thunderfury than T2 Priest robe.
We don’t do split raids.
Do I want Blizzard to change anything? No. The excitement of a thing you want dropping is amazing, instead of grinding tokens or whatever and just slowly crossing that finish line uneventfully.
Is it frustrating? You bet. But I prefer this method to retail. You can’t have such big highs without such deep lows.
We have been raiding since September 2019, and had only 2x Geddon Bindings, you guys had 11x legendary drops, that is insane difference. The deviation is too high over the raid groups.
Equality of opportunity vs equality of outcome. Every raid group have the sames drops % , thats the fairness. If you want to get the same rewards that any other player doing the same things, stick to quests.
"45 MC runs, 0 Garr’s bindings, also 0 Eye of Sulfuras and 0 Bonereavers.
There is a guy in Benediction-US that bought both bindings in a GDKP last week and is still sitting on greens and blues from his leveling, he told me he just hit lvl 60 in his alt and bought both bindings in his very first MC run.
Nice Legendary loot system Blizzard."
Man shut the #$%@ up, no one wants to hear you #$%@#.
