What a stupid change.. now we are back stuck with an interrupt that is also a stun.. again not able to kick caster mobs into a pack in m+.
I thought you gave us this spell to fix thix problem? I can understand that 2 kicks is to powerfull but pls.. then change Felguard Utility and seperate the axe toss stun and interrupt.
It is a good change (for the overall health of the game), and if you disagree you’re just biased. Demo lock has too much control, it was completely unnecessary.

Sorry but when you dont get the axe toss part you are 100% wrong in this thread.
You cant kick mobs into the pack with axe toss cause its also a stun.. you interrupt the mob outside the pack and in the same time you stun it.. when the stun is over, so is the interrupt and the mob still is outside the pack casting.
Like I said.. when they dont want us to have a 2nd interrupt im fine with that and i agree that that is very powerfull. But then they should separate axe toss stun from interrupt.

You have to understand something, as a non Demo player it feels like Demo has a LOT of agency right now. More than any other spec. Ive heard people commenting about it in raids, m+, and PVP.
So as a demo player you should be wanting to thoroughly explain the issue with Axe Toss, instead of some poorly worded explanation about.. the position of the mob..? It wasnt very clear.
It is not a complicated issue to understand. If you are pulling 3 packs of mobs that have 2 casters in each pack, you are going to have to use your kick to stop a cast so the caster starts running. Axe toss does not let you do that because your “kick” also stuns the mob in place. By the time the stun runs out the internal cd of the casters cast is going to be over so it will just recast in place. Im not sure what you are struggling to understand. Demo lock has been historically disliked in keys because of having such a bad kick and also does not have anything that the other two specs of lock do not.
This also clearly shows that you do not understand warlock at all. Demo has no more agency than aff or destro, the extra kick is only useful in a situation where the mob is cc immune outside of a kick. Having an actual kick is very helpful, and that is being taken away from demo.
I might buy that the Spell Lock we get while GFR is on cooldown is “too much”… if it didn’t turn out that about half the caster mobs in Midnight are evidently immune to it.
I mean of course there are other solutions, but to say that power of a spec should determine how people respond to bad decisions is crazy. You play hunter, it has been meta in the past and also has had a history of bad utility. This is the same issue. The only utility warlock has gained this xpac is mass tongues which is good but kicks have always been an important aspect of keys. Either you dont play at a level where kicks matter and it makes sense you dont see the issue, or you are dps blind to the fact that having your kick tied to a stun is awful. Instead of giving these solutions you say could be done, they are just taking it away and putting demo back in a spot where if it doesnt overperform on dps it will not be wanted because its kick is bad.
You are also calling this a small thing when it is clearly not. They finally gave the spec with the worst kick in the game an actual kick, and took it away with no fix to the current horrible kick. And once again, to say that demo doing good damage is the reason people have no room to complain is idiotic because demo will obviously get tuned. That is also why the only logical thing to think is that you are ragebaiting because anything else would mean you are actually just that dense.
Get rid of the interrupt effect on axe toss, keep it being a stun only. let us keep the interrupt from fel ravager PLEASE. This is the first time I’ve ever tried Demo cuz it finally had a useable interrupt. with only Axe toss as an interrupt you can’t get casters to join the group in M+

You use an axe toss on Mob that casts something, mob is not immune to the stun so with interrupt you apply stun. So instead of interrupting mob and force it to move to the tank or source of Aggro it stands on the place and after 5 seconds start to cast again - this is bad.
It works ok, when you use axe toss and mob is immune to stun, in that case and that case alone you will interrupt the mob and it will go to the tank or source of aggro.
PvP.
Axe toss while interrups also stuns the enemy giving it diminishing to both interrupt on said school of magic and also for stun. With DR changes of midnights when you can stun enemy only twice before it becomes immune for 16 seconds, Axe toss is a bane of warlock existence.
I reiterate that Felguard should be a secondary pet (especially now that it deals basically no damage). Would solve so many issues and let us actually use the other pets.
Better idea, make Felguard talent a node with two choices, one gives you felguard that deals more damage, second node add him as second demon who only uses his legion strike.
