Will there be a way to ally with Sylvanas in the future since many people didn’t know there was a permanent choice between her and Saurfang?

How could you not know? It gives you a warning message when you complete the choice.

There is no popup confirmation for accepting the only quest option. The popup is only there when you choose to support your Warchief with an unassuming dialog option that many people did not even see.
looks like the choice is not changeable. this player posted his interaction with customer service and said, nope.

Blizzard completely screwed up on this one. There was NO WARNING when you click on the quest as one has done hundreds of times in the past 14 years. There was ONLY a warning if one ignored the quest and clicked in the dialog box first. Blizzard maliciously made a game altering choice for us while pretending to have given us a choice. And now they claim there is no way to correct the mistake THEY have made.
I have never ever felt so betrayed and such outrage over a game. Which by the way dear blizzard, “I” spend good money on. CHANGE THIS and make this “choice” reversible. And GM, stop with the nonsense drivel of “there was a clear choice” NO THERE WAS NO CLEAR CHOICE!!!
