It won’t when there’s a box at the top saying you can only choose one reward from the great vault and then another box to confirm when you choose said reward.

Surely you can do better.
The details matter. ‘One per row’ or ‘One out of all items shown’. Is a legitimate question. As stated in my post, you would imagine that ONE from EACH slot would be what it intends. I understand there is a secondary pop up, but the point stands. If you have 3 rewards in one row, you’d figure you have to choose ONE from that row, so on so forth. It just feels bad that this ISN’T how it works.
So I proposed 3 choices, out of EVERY thing you unlocked in that vault. I feel this would make what you did all week feel like an achievement and be what it should be: Rewarding. It just feels skimpy as it stands.

When someone tells me “you only get one”, it make sense to think you get 2 or 3. Numbers are vague like that.

so if you went to a shoe store during a “buy one, get one free” promotion…
you’d suggest that if you buy a pair of sneakers you should also get a pair of boots, a pair of slippers, a pair of sandals, and a pair of moccasins all free because the offer didn’t specifically state that “one pair doesn’t mean one pair of each type of shoes”?

No. That isn’t even close to what this is.
Its essentially giving you things to unlock through a whole week through three types of content–Mythic+, Raid Finder, and Rated PVP. It just makes sense, you would get, ONE from each of those things you unlocked. Not all of them. If you want to get higher ilevel, you get the higher tier slot FOR that row.
What is the sense of doing those other types if you will just get lower-teir upgrades and can only choose one out of all the row-types?

doing different content is designed to give you different options, not to boost reward ilvl

it even gives you a confirmation screen after you pick that one to make sure you understand what “one” means

Because, the way it is right now–you have a choice of either a -lower- upgrade, OR a higher one… it would make sense to just throw out any previous lower rewards and just have the highest one if you can only choose ONE out of all of them. Like, seriously, why would anyone choose 187 ilevel over 213 ilevel gear if they had a choice?
so if i have a choice between a 213 belt (i have a 213 now) and a 200 trinket (i still have a 187 in one slot) it should just throw out the 200 because why would i not pick the highest ilvl item?

Eh everyone has done something really stupid with loot in their game life. It’s just a game it’s just pixels picking the dagger over the staff won’t mean diddly in the long run so just shrug, say “Damn that was dumb of me” laugh at yourself and go on.

Technically, yes. But thats another batch of worms. I think with this system as it is now, we should use something similar to the MoP/WoD Timeless Isle gear where you could choose one slot of gear, and it generates the highest ilevel reward you unlocked.
–That is, if we would meld two systems into one. The Great Vault System and the Timeless Isle Gear system.
