This is hilarious.
I think the mechanics are badly thought out and prepared. You do all the content they ask for The Great Vault and you do raid dungeons and pvp … And you can only choose ONE thing? ???
It’s just a waste of time all that. Just please give you one pvp item and one pve item.
Five.
Five characters.
OP wanted the vault to be more giving than expected, even with the instructions in bold red text, and months of information stating the functions of the vault and feels cheated.
Moving on.
Why didn’t you start with the most important piece you want–staff?
What about the window that popped up telling you, you’d get the piece of gear, a key, and the quest item? Was that not clear enough? That window is making sure you are sure with you’re choice.
Never click on the lower item first…
I agreed until I went and looked at it. I mean I get that it says 1, but with the way the rows and stuff are set up I can understand why people thought it meant one per type.
I know it seems rather easy for tons of people, but keep in mind not everyone spends hours looking over everything so I can understand the confusion.
That said I probably would have slowed down a minute and checked or at least took the highest ilevel piece just in case something was off.
The only posts that were flagged are the ones with masked expletives. Some responses were unnecessary, but you did let yourself get riled up. That’s why I recommended going back to edit what you’ve typed.
Like I said, step away from a while. Don’t let the game or its players get you down.
Guys, I make bad choices in my life, but I don’t want to take responsibility. Who can I blame?
You do know you could get a pvp chest AND a pve chest in BFA right? Just doing raid in getting a weekly chest is new
Someone not paying attention blames Blizzard. Highlights at 11.
this community gets more … “special” as the years go by.
Not trying to be an jerk or anything but this design has been CLEARLY stated how it would work for quite awhile and it warns you before the confirmation. It is in no way Blizzards fault you failed to read. This is the equivalent of sticking your hand into a fuse box and complaining they didnt tell you it would electrocute you after there were warnings easily read.
This is one thing that infuriates me. People shifting blame to someone else even though it was their mistake. Own up to it, learn from it and move on. At worst you lost 1 week of the vault off a bad selection. Now you know and can move forward. This is how wisdom is gained…
Correct!
However most players do not complete PvP content such as Arenas and if they do they are very low rated and receive low IL gear for completing it.
But now, you have 6 options between M+ & Raiding to help out your loot decisions.
what a mistake this was. absolutely cannot stand this community.
Which is to be fair ambiguous itself. If you’re assuming each “row” is a unique choice. Of course I only expected one item per row! Not all of them.
…I just expected to get to make this choice per row. Not once for everything.
Only looking closer afterwards do I notice it spelled out at the top. I get stupid overlays for inconsequential stuff like the mission table that have to be clicked through before using and then a choice you can’t take back is only documented in text at the top of the window and easily overlooked?
That’s a UI failure.
Will I learn my lesson? Sure. I’m not angry or screaming or hurt or any other nonsense. But it’s not a hard mistake for people to make.
General Discussion does not treat self-inflicted problems well. You must be new here not knowing that.
Fair enough. I hope your day gets better, and you have the opportunity to relax. This close to the holidays, there’s no reason to let anyone put a damper on your spirit.
Oh its is welcoming, when there’s a more reasonable issue that can be agreed upon, rather a small minority of people who misread instructions. But even then, there’s a counter group to every argument.
Also, most forms of swearing censoring is gonna get you flagged. People don’t even care about the context of the message at that point.
Its like Mad Max around here. A lawless wasteland where the community sets the rules and few volunteer managers have power.
