I checked mine on lunch. Conquest chest piece and conquest on use pvp trinket. I have a leggo chest piece. I took the trinket.
That’s the third time I’ve had a piece drop for a slot that I have a leggo in. At the very least Blizzard should prevent that. It’s frustrating. I so t have the extra soul ash to make the other version of the leggo as I’m already weeks behind bc this is a alt I made my main.
Doesn’t take that long. M+ is by far the longest but even if you do 4 keys you get 2 options. If you cap conquest you’re basically already at 2 options for PvP.
Players want high ilevel gear. But they keep on doing easy content that doesnt drop upgrades.
It’s like them praying to win a lotto and they never bought a single lotto ticket.
Every week so far I’ve gotten upgrades, since I continue to push higher levels of content.
This last week I didn’t, so understandably I most likely won’t get an upgrade… and that’s my own fault.
So if you’re getting bad vault rewards, you’re doing content too easy for you. Push yourself and the game will reward you.
Something like that…but sadly for many it’s just more bad luck.
This is false in every way. I think you underestimate the power of STATS over ilvl.
bracers, rings, rings and bracers
I dunno, I got the Sire Denathrius Heroic trinket today. I’ve never gotten loot off that boss, despite getting many kills, so I’m “happy” rn. W/ how bad loot is, I probably wouldn’t have my trinket w/ out a vault system.
I selected a cloak this week because it had the highest vendor price.
For my spec at least, intellect is weighted so high ilvl is the goal more often than not. I have higher PvP rings but use Normal Mode haste ones for PvE.
I’ve actually gotten very little from running m+ or raids… most of my gear has been from Vault and Covenant/pvp upgrades, with a few (184 Trinkets mostly) from WQs.
Got a selection of 2 items on one of my characters. Neither was an upgrade, but one of them was a transmog I wanted, so I was happy.
How can one man speak so much truth.

Why don’t you post it on your main so we can take a look at the items you got equipped. Every time I see a person complaining about the vault they are usually pretty well geared.
In our raid group, even in the M+ group i see the same couple of ppl get gear. Not only ont their main but across all their alts. Their alts have better gear than half the raid bc they constantly get drops. It wasn’t just this xpack. One fellow in particular gets mount drops, rare items and gear.
I feel like they have all the luck while everyone else gets screwed week after week.
How many slots do you still require upgrades for on your main? 2 slots of of 15 = 13/15 chances at disappointment ^3 vault slots = 65% chance you won’t get an upgrade each week.
4 slots for targeting = 11/15 ^3 = still a 39% chance of disappointment.
Your issue isn’t with the Vault itself, its the end of dungeon/raid reward
I honestly believe there is a hidden luck attribute, my wife has one character that just gets loot drops like crazy, but the rest of them get much less (and they are played equally).
I too think they vault needs to renamed from The Great Vault, to The Great Dissapointment
I ended up with:
Pally - 2 choices, both downgrades
Druid - 1 choice, small upgrade (200 replaced 197)
Lock - 1 choice, small upgrade (200 1h replaced 197 2h)
The great vault system is confusing.
I’m sure Blizzard has their reasons… but they aren’t apparent to me.
