I am actually very excited for the idea that I may one day be able to play any race and choose what faction I want to play that race as.
The idea that any race in the game has a CHOICE is a good thing. So, I really hope in 10.0 that factions do still exist. This would just let people play the races they love with the group they like to play with no race barrier. It is such a good thing.
