You don’t understand what balance means, you think the game only takes place in instanced pve content.

I wonder if blizzard has also balanced pvp and pve together. Hmmmm. I wonder if that’s possible. Probably inconceivable in ur mind tho. Simply why not both? I guess that’s not possible in ur mind tho.
Nothing more wrong with “us Era players” wanting classes to be good at different things and keep their class feel, than is wrong with “you Retail players” wanting to homogenize all classes into one grey mass.
The couple things classic+ needs to be successful IMO
1 minimal servers
2. Class balance like SoD
3. Abilities do X damage in PvE and abilities do X damage in PvP
4. No faction specific classes
Obviously there will be more things but those are the things I think are needed the most
Good at different things? What is feral cat good at? Boomy? Prot paly? Arcane mage? Affli lock? Assassination rogue? Resto druid? These specs all just don’t matter? Guess wanting those specs to be viable to play is retail. Maybe you should just stay out of C+ if you hate the idea of someone being able to play the game on a spec they find fun. And by play I mean all aspects not just 1. You also call me a retail player. Majority of my time is on anniversary rn. You just cope hard because you want to keep people down since you can’t keep up. God forbid someone can play Prot paly on raid.
Modern blizzard cant do anything right. There was no such thing as balance in SoD. They were applying patches to “balance” specs every week lmao.
Oh no. They were attempting to balance the game and they didn’t get it right instantly. Wow. I didn’t know you just knew how to balance everything instantly. A game with millions of interactions. You just knew how to fix it day 1? Please tell them. You might get hired. How does one make every class within 15% of each other? What’s the secret?
Is the scariest thing to you honestly just the thought that classes could be balanced? That it also may take some patches to do so?
I think you need to get it through your thick skull that I am not against changes in classic+ to bring raid performance of different and under utilised specs closer to the mean.
What I am against is blindly buffing classes and creating a situation where constant tweeks are needed and the buffs are exploited so people are getting oneshot in wpvp and able to solo level 60 dungeons easily etc.

Then literally just add pvp balance stats. Those have been done. You have argued against all balance suggestions. Resilience exists pvp power exists. Global and individual dmg against player buffs and nerfs exist. Not once did you agree classes need and should be within 15% of each other. Everytime you just called it retail. You are a clown.

Not my fault you never typed it. Do it now. Say you want all specs to be balanced within 15% of each other in pvp and pve and are ok with them using features like against player specific damage changes for pvp and even possibly adding stats like resilience to the game. Aswell as classes/specs in pve to be able to fill roles they can’t in vanilla like paladin tank/DPS and shaman DPS.
Well then, you’re just as much of a Retail player as I am an Era player - welcome to the club.
The problem with you Retail players is that you lack the imagination to see that other players can find other things than parses in raids and fat loot fun.
I actually man a Prot pally in Classic and I have fun.
Maybe you should just stay out of any discussion if you cannot see beyond the tip of your own nose.

If ur fun is low level content why do care about level 60 pve. Why are you so against people wanting C+ to not be warrior meta. Maybe YOU should stay out of C+ discussion because you are against people having fun. You think a person having the ability to tank raids as a paladin is “retail” you are a clown. Please and I mean this. Please NEVER play any version but era. You are actively trying to stop people from playing anything but what YOU deem is ok. While I want people to be able to play all aspects of the game in whatever spec they want.
Yup. You just really want people to only play what YOU want. You are afraid of people having fun and being able to play something like a boomkin or a cat or paladin tank. How sad. The era community really is the biggest group of gatekeepers I have ever seen. Both of you just can’t stand the thought of someone playing something like an ele shaman in raid and being close to warrior DPS while also being balanced in pvp. Crazy
Have I ever said that I cared about end game PvE, or PvP for that matter. Do you think C+ is going to magically 'port you to 60?

Your first statement is silly since you can level to 60 however you want with my suggestions as well. I fail to see how balancing classes hurts leveling in any way. Still crazy you call me a retail player when I have under 100 hours on retail. And over 10k on classic.

How do I tank bosses that drop threat as a paladin. Also yes ret can’t DPS. They do less DPS than a Prot warrior. If u had 30+ rets you wouldn’t be able to clear naxx. You would hit enrage. So explain to me how I tank aq as a Prot paladin without a taunt. How tank sartura or twins or trio. Or ouro?

Answer my question please if paladin can tank. How do I tank aq as Prot paladin without changes that you consider “retail” also who cares if paly can DPS. I’ll bring 20 warriors because they do 3k more DPS. Paladin are healers according to ur friend above. No changes to anything. So how do I tank?
