i have a hard time understanding your desire for people to experience consequences IN A VIDEO GAME.
This is the greatest RP I’ve ever read. Eliminate the other faction, even behind the screen. This man is a Horde fundamentalist.
It’s an MMO, there are consequences when you involve other people. What do you not understand? If you go to a restaurant and the wait is 2 hours, it is two hours because everyone else decided to go as well. At that point you only have the ability to choose for yourself a solution. Whether it’s a restaurant, a place you shop, a video game, anything involving other people when their input and ability to think and make choices is involved will indeed have a consequence. So you can stop the “But it’s a video game…” response. It’s a game, played by individual human beings who also make decision. And these decisions like it or not will impact you, just as your decisions impact them. Being a “video game” where the design is driven by a community of people just as our society is driven will yield similar results.
If you want a “video game” that is impacted by you and you only, play a single player game. MMOs where other human beings are also playing that video game, and making choices in that video game is not for you apparently as you feel you matter above all else.
again HOW is this going to negatively impact other players? you are just saying that it will because…well… reasons

how mad are you going to be in wrath when players have more choice and this wont be a problem due to faction changes being available?
You have literal threads with constructed feedback from players. Many even in this very thread. Do I have to come back with a post to every “Fix PvP queues with X solution” thread? You only further prove that you’ve ignored every other human being because their reasoning is beneath you. But if you need links to threads so you can read them all I can provide that for you.

cause i answered this. its not that big of a deal for me cause i still have my 58 boost for an alliance character. its not just me. hour long queues are bad for the game.

Here is one of many threads. Knock yourself out on 200 replies, there are a plethora of opinions varying on either side of how this is both healthy and unhealthy for the game.

Because you are talking to me. You wanted MY answer and I gave it. I feel that because you made a decision, you need to be your solution. I owe you nothing more than that. You want reasons, I gave you what you clearly don’t want to hear. You don’t care about the answer. You only care about a solution for you. And in the case of your claim that your “fix” will have an impact… you made the claim. You should be proving to me how it will help with. Not just “feelings” You need credible source that says you know for a fact your solution will fix the problem.

it doesn’t take much analysis or data to demonstrate the point that a 15-30 dollar faction change to alliance to play bgs will… allow people who pay for the faction changes to play more bgs without a massive time detour. its in blizzards toolkit. it happens next expansion. it doesn’t hurt the game (again answer HOW directly). blizzard has shown that they are capable of #somechanges already.
PvP died decades ago when other mmos made better pvp systems like gw2
If youre only coming back for TBC for the pvp and not the pve then you are playing the wrong game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they start allowing paid faction transfers next phase. It doesn’t ruin the game in any way. In fact, it would probably make the game better overall for Alliance players.
It will make players happy, and make them money at the same time.
Horde players that want to spam BGs will join Alliance for greener grass, then cry about how nobody on the Alliance team gives a crap or tries most of the time because they will just instant queue into another game.
Alliance will cry about it for no real reason. Once they start to notice they have ten times the amount of people to play with and the summoning stones start looking a lot less red, they will get over it real fast.
Faction balance will improve a bit, queues will improve a bit, ActiBlizz will make a bunch of money for doing absolutely nothing. Everybody wins.
Do it make them ques even longer for yourself lol maybe all the alliance will leave your server and you will be on a pve server yourself and will still be waiting an hour plus for a que…
