Graphical Errors

Ive just started noticing today that I have been getting some graphical errors. Some textures are not appearing/disappearing as well as a weird green texture when I run on my priest (cloth robe glitch?) I have some screenshots to show it off. Any advice on how to fix it? I already just updated my graphics cards’ driver, its a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070. Help?

What driver version are you and were you currently on, Fluttershý, by chance? Does it help to try switching the DirectX version?

Let’s grab a DxDiag file. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

~~~
DxDiag Here
~~~

If you have issues pasting here, use Pastebin and post the end of the link. (ie. 123456 for pastebin.com/123456)

(This is Fluttershy)

It’s not letting me post it on here, error 502 and pastebin says the file is too large. The driver is the lastest one, which I believe is 456.55 . Let me try and post is separate.

Switching between Directx 11 and 12 did nothing, problem still persists.

I had to break it up into multiple paste bins because it was too large.

First one is : https://pastebin.com/Yef84M76

Second part is : https://pastebin.com/m6UycHv8

Third Part is : https://pastebin.com/Eb8DvvWy

Fourth Part is : https://pastebin.com/Q5i9JBCL

Fifth and final part is : https://pastebin.com/3qd6xUmy

Kept saying my file was to large, sorry :frowning:

Same issue for me with DX11 or DX12, I am using Nvidia driver 442.74, which was the last stable driver I could use following my last adventure in WoW tech support (micro freezing with latest Nvidia drivers). There used to be a sticky about it.

Howdy,

In this case, let’s try rolling back the video driver. To do this, download the older Nvidia driver by going here.

Run the installer and select the Nvidia Driver option only. Then I would recommend doing a Custom install and selecting the ‘Perform a clean installation’ option which will remove the older files.

Once the driver install has finished, change the Nvidia settings so that the game is using the Nvidia card:
• Right click on the desktop and launch NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D settings.
• Go to Program Settings tab.
• Select the game to change the graphics processor under “Select a program to customize”. If it’s not is not available, select the specific game from the drop down list.
• Select your “Prefer maximum performance” graphics card under “Power management”.

Then reset the game settings to set everything back to default.

I’d also suggest checking the temperatures if this keeps happening.

Issue still persists. I did everything you asked :frowning:

Nothing you provided has worked =( I still see the green on the robes.

Hey there,

The screenshots appear as possible driver corruption. Lets try using DDU to do a clean install of the Nvidia drivers. Keep in mind that this is a much different process than simply updating or doing a clean install using Nvidia’s installer tool.

Basically:

  1. Download the driver but wait to install it
  2. Run the DDU program, then clean and restart the PC after selecting Nvidia from the menu
  3. After the PC is restarted, run the driver installer downloaded in step 1
  4. If prompted by the Nvidia installer, restart the computer. If there is no prompt for restarting please feel free to skip this step

After the clean install of the drivers are done go ahead and retry the game! If the problem persists beyond that please open a support ticket.

Cheers!

Try switching your Directx to this -d3d11legacy … It helped me a bit when I switched from DirectX 12… Good Luck… Just type the code into your DirectX box on your settings page. I am in Beta and I had to type it in there, even tho I had it already on the Live ver. of the game… Good Luck!

I did what you asked. Besides running a tad faster, no change. Support ticket here I come -_-

Tried that too, no change :frowning:

I’m dumb. I put a ticket it, and the green sheen is from the irradiated undercoat I have on from mechagon… omfg

Hey there,

Super glad to hear we got the green undercoat figured out! Did the other problem fix as well? Just wanted to ensure we covered everything

No it didn’t but its not that big of a deal.
