Grand Expedition Yak- Camera

I can confirm that this does NOT fix the issue.

Just to add to the chorus, I’m experiencing the same issue. Only mildly annoying, but the yak’s a pretty common mount for a lot of us.

Same issue here.

And unfortunately @Yougmansu’s solution didn’t work for me. :sad_but_relieved_face:

i don’t really understand how this one is still a thing. It’s one thing for other mounts, ground or not, as it’s not like they’re gonna be testing every single mount in the game for every patch.

But this started with the big transmog revamp, and it’s the transmog mount. You’d think that specific mount would have encountered this bug and been fixed pre-launch, let alone a week later

Also have this issue with yak. Havent tried other mounts but this one i use frequently because of the vendor so it’s very noticable.

+1 to this issue. Mildly annoying given I am always using that yak

It was a persistent bug when i was in beta as well and i dont think it had ever gotten fixed,

I think I found the CVar that is causing the issue. My CVar CameraSavedVehicleDistance was set to like 18.65 or something weird like that. I changed it to the default value of -1 and the issue seems to be resolved. I’m not 100% sure if this is the only thing causing this issue for people but its worth a try. =D

I wish this was a silver bullet for me, didn’t change anything.

Like another poster mentioned above some other mounts are a bit wonky, I really wish this would get cleaned up…

The only solution is on Blizz side… BUMP

Just here to say that I’ve also experienced this on all mounts using the corpsefly model (such as corpseflies, honeybees, etc.) in addition to also experiencing it with the grand expedition yak.

I am having the same problem. Have to scroll in/down just to see the mount and it’s hard to see the vendors.

Still noticing this issue as of the weekly reset yesterday. I’ve noticed that reloading my UI does NOT fix the camera angle.

happens on various mounts for me as well, not just the Yak.

Not sure what broke or why they haven’t fixed it yet.

Yes, me too. I immediately noticed it after the pre-expansion patch on my Grand Expedition Yak, my camera just shoots high up and I have to fiddle round to come back down and click the vendors. Irritating

This is definitely still an issue. With quite a few mounts. Most notably the Grand Expedition Mount.

I’m also having this issue with Yak since prepatch. Quite annoying because it’s a very used mount for me

I have this issue as well, blizz should add a feature I have seen in other games where you can move the center of your camera around to adjust your view better.

Same issue here please fix blizz jeeez

also the dragon flight mounts seem to make a weird walking noise on some surfaces like a squishy like fleshy noise on certain mud types sometimes
