It’s primetime on a Sunday during AB weekend and I’m currently 30 mins into a “13 min estimated” Queue. There’s ~20 games up atm. I’m horde on Living Flame (US) and ally out number us. To the point ally don’t even bother with BGs because they can just farm us at dungeon portals/incursions for better honor per hour. Something’s got to be done about this. BGs should be the best option to farm honor, and on my server world PVP isn’t really an option because we’re so out numbered. Either need to buff honor from BGs to out way world PVP farming, or allow same faction BGs.

just queue with someone else, queue will be instant.

Shouldn’t have to Q as group to avoid massive wait times. We won that game I was in and I got 2k honor. After 37 min wait and 28 min game. 2k in 1 hour… even instant Q isn’t worth that amount of honor.
just saying how the system works. Don’t even need a full group just one other person pretty much turns the queue instant.

Yep. The queue system doesnt make sense. Pug players should take precedence.
Meanwhile, as an Ally player, I play ten games in a row of Horde full premades. BG’s are not fun right now for pug players. Either you cant get in as Horde or you get in as Ally but have to face full Horde premades.
The devs need to figure this out.

I’m aware of how the system works. I’m saying it needs to be fixed though. I SHOULD be able to queue on BG weekend solo and not have to wait 30+ min when there’s 20 games going on. Especially when the reward is almost non existent. 2k honor and 200 rep for an hour.

yeah i agree thats part of the reason i dont want to play horde but alliance
is pretty bad.

Hopelessly posting to forums that devs don’t/won’t read seems like my last move. Joined a 5 man premade and it was fresh 50s, no comms, no heals, everyone scattered. People aren’t doing proper premades when they just want the fast Q.
bg’s suck and so do players. i mean look, they cant even clear st

It’s been broken since P2 and there are countless posts about it. I don’t expect a fix at that point.
It’s equally bad as an alliance solo player because you keep fighting the same premades over and over again.
Yes, the system is broken.
Alliance solo queuers have instant queues but generally get put against premades, losing like 90% of the time. As a result, very few alliance queue BGs anymore, even ones (such as myself) who like them. This then results in solo-queueing horde having long times because there’s no one to match them with and, for whatever reason, premades get precedent.
Something is clearly broken when solo-queuing horde wait forever to get into games yet when I solo queue as alliance I regularly face the same premades/horde players in consecutive games.

Nerf shaman and buff paly will fix all.
Usually one layer is horde dominated and one is alliance. Think living flame US, 1 is usually ally and 2 is just a sea of horde. The other layers are probably random.
But yeah it’s crazy that this hasnt been reverted entirely or fixed. Incursions even if they arent better honor per hour, are going to be more fun than solo qing against stacks every single game.
You all begged blizzard to change the queue in phase 1. You made your bed, now lie in it.

Why? BGS were never the main focus point of PvP farming untill AV anyway, world PvP has always been and always will be the more fluid/productive way to farm honour. its also arguably more fun. i think BM event should award honor also
