Got kicked from lfr for low heals

Yes, yes you are.

Fun fact. Wow raid difficulty levels go in this order from easiest to hardest: Norm, LFR, heroic, mythic. So I’d suggest trying normal before jumping into LFR.

I suppose a “git gud” is in order?

Welcome to the club. That’s happened to every healer. I remember when I came back from my break from Wod I was clueless in the raid healing on my Priest they were not happy cus I wasn’t really top heals still trying to figure out the Priest changes. Don’t get discouraged it takes time to learn raid healing and plus you were heavily undergeared. Don’t listen to Lfr people those ppl are the worst. Just keep trying =)

Who cares. In 2 weeks that gear will be long replaced

Stay away from LFR. It’s complete trash.

well, was healing a problem?

nope as i stated multiple times the tentacles slam debuffing the raid up to 10-15 and hitting everyone for 8k each was it was trash not a boss fight

The reality of LFR is that if every person in the raid was a fresh level 50 who just barely meets the ilvl requirement, you wouldn’t be able to kill any of the bosses.

do you mean the tentacles coming out of the maw area?
if so that means they weren’t being tanked.

so yea. not your fault.

edit:
the guy below me has the best advice

Step 1) Do not play LFR.

There is no step two.

LFR is just toxic in general whenever there are wipes because people don’t want to do mechanics and just want to flex numbers.

Worgens are so soft

LFR is still raiding, if your heals were low enough that the raid kicked you then you need to learn your class a bit better before you try again.

Getting gear from the zombie event is way more efficient anyway, I would take your new char through the short quest chain and kill some rares instead.

AGAIN for the 50th time
it was trash and the slams in the maw were going off and they blamed healers for not being able to heal 10+ stacks of slam

if everyone has 15k hp on avg

and slam is hitting everyone for 6k there 2 different mobs slamming the raid
and tank is pulling stuff on the ramp which also throwing out random aoes
how in anyway is it the healers fault for not being able to keep anyone alive from ticking 12k damage every seconds i got a headache at this point but i think i see the issue why LFR is the way it is

critical thinking seems to be a general skill lacking for the avg wow player nd quite frankly i give up and dont care anymore

Well, here’s some critical thinking for you. You got kicked because your heals were low, your heals were low because you couldn’t be bothered to do some very easy events and get free IL 100-125 gear. You’ve admitted yourself that you “just wanted to see the raid”, and couldn’t really be bothered to do something silly like gear up.

Critical thinking conclusion, I can see why they kicked you. It’s not just your low heals, it’s your attitude that you are somehow owed to be carried through something with zero effort on your part to make sure your contribution is up to par.

That’s just what happens in LFR you’re much better off just doing normal or even heroic, normal is easier than LFR imo. LFR you have a bunch of clowns half afk whereas in normal people are usually at least going to be able to read

i have an attitude? i didnt say anything in raid lmao your literally defending a bad pull that no one could of healed even if they had full mythic raid healers
i wasnt the only one kicked the entire healer team was kicked on a trash pull that got out of hand

again it wasnt a boss fight it was trash

i did the other 3 zero issue i have 100 ilvl honestly i dont even see where your getting at if you think i was issue feel free to attempt and heal 15 stacks of double slam and if you actually do it great

if we actually got the boss and died i would consider your point but someone troll pulled while we was on the ramp and we 15 stacks of slam debuff hitting me for 8k+ with barkskin and everyone trickling in 1 by 1 not letting it reset so it was constant till we finally got to the boss after tanks finally died and called out healers

But sure it was my fault the tank had 25 STACKS OF THE SLAM

As has already been & likely will continue to be said, forget about that one.

I’ve only been kicked from LFR ONCE and that was because they had THREE people trying to lead & all of them were giving contradictory directions or doing exactly the opposite of what they said the tank(s) would do. I shrugged that off because idiots & requeued - got the entire raid done in under an hour.

Sometimes you will get a :poop: group, but usually you get a bunch of folks who are being carried by a few who are farming - just say, “Hey it’s my first time here/just returned after a long absence” at the start. I’ve always gotten, “Just try to keep up, it’s LFR so you don’t really need to do anything but keep up & stay alive.”

And welcome back!
