Google "WoW Classic Ad"

In MY perfect world. DUHHH. Don’t take what i said out of context plz.

TWO ACCOUNTS with beta for ONE PERSON

And? I don’t see the issue. They are a marketing tool, not use for testing. Consider them staff at this point then maybe you can let it go.

No issue here, friend. Simply stating its annoying, from my perspective. Nothing to ‘let go’ of. In order to avoid being annoyed by these subtle things, I just won’t be watching any streams.

That’s not true, it is just risky but not true, they wanted to do that but the didn’t know how. BTW remastering WC3 SC1 probably other games etc… doesn’t have full support of the company? give me a break please.

WoW: Classic isn’t a remaster.

It’s a port.

Literally the only work going into it is programming work. Nothing that constitutes a remaster.

They should just re-run the super old standard definition ads they had in the past such as the announcement and gameplay trailers. It would turn heads since they are so old.

With more ground clutter  optional of course

I’m only wary of streamer privilege in the actual release come late August. That’s what matters. The rest is just silliness.

Like I said. Programming.

They’re porting it into the modern engine and server infrastructure.

This is way too early for ads of that nature anyway. They would have to be advertising constantly for the next three months if they started now.

I prefer Night Elf Mr. T over any streamer

I got this. takes the buck, gets an iced tea

It’s logic time, fellers.

Warcraft is quite a brandname itself, though some ads wouldn’t hurt for sure. Word for mouth does well enough and i doubt they want to bring in even more folk atm for the first week.

They launched the beta and don’t have even an internal ad to go w/ it. Not a single marketing ad, not a video posted on their youtube channel or anything. That is worrisome, especially considering how little support they are getting from Acti-Blizzard.

IMO if BFA was doing really well and subs were good, we wouldn’t have a solid Classic release date and they would hold off as long as they can. This feels very much like a hail-mary.

This is a fair point, Pint. I’m inclined to agree.

Besides… Ythisens confirmed yesterday that “streamer priviledge” is not a thing. Or at least, that it wasn’t when he worked at Blizzard.

I’m more inclined to believe him than the people crying about it.
