I’m not freaking out too much about that honestly. I like pet battles, but we haven’t had good pet battle content in years. Basically Legion. TWW felt like it was just going through the motions and barely had it. I still have a ton of pet battle content I didn’t complete.

Do you heal often? Have you looked at the download count for Healbot, Cell, VuhDo and Grid? Decursive?
All of those addons become cosmetic and lose essentially all functionality that sets them apart from basic UI.
Count up the users that have them installed. I’ll wait. Let me know once you do, what the odds are that a significant portion of those players won’t just stop healing because it’s not really enjoyable. I’m curious how many you think will quit.

I feel like there are some portion of posters that are just trolls, there’s no point asking for clarification from people who are commenting in bad faith.
I agree with your original post and echo many of the concerns here. I know I could do everything need with mouseover macros but it’s just so much work and so unnecessary.
The vuhdo team could announce that they are discontinuing support and that would be such a major loss for me but it is what it is.

if you have access to the alpha and have healed in heroic raids and m+ in there let me know if you are now unable to heal because there is no addons.

There is speculation on that, but naturally there’s been very little official communication from Blizz on it, and the stuff they have said is very off-hand and vague.
So who knows. That seems to be the MO…drop bombs and explain nothing.

Ivaria hasn’t discontinued support yet. It’s still up in the air depending on alpha adjustments. But yeah, if he discontinues support, then I discontinue my sub. If I leave over this, I’m NOT coming back again.

While I am very worried about Cell, Clique is perhaps where I will break
I’ve been a grid ver1 used since it was created and only swapped to Cell this expack. I still have clique on top of Cell because Clique works on focus and target frames where as Cell does not.
If they break clique without porting everything over into the base game. Life will be very, very hard. I’ve been playing since Vanilla, my UI right now is something I have honed for literally 20 years to where I prefer it right now. I’m even fine with default barmod ever since they changed it up.
But as a healer without Cell’s display performance and info delivery (and honestly I like Icehud as well). Eeeeeeeeh sketch. Very sketch.
I will also miss Luxthos’ class suite but the man seems to be using default UI to remake that so I guess it should be fine…(?)

Oh just because I CAN heal doesn’t mean I want to heal mythics and heroic without Cell. That would be miserable.

I actually have target and focus cells on Cell currently so I’m a bit confused but also I tend to agree that it’s game over for my interest in the game.

As long as I can set raid frames to look like a small grid, as Grid does, I’d likely be fine. If not, well, I’m trying not to think about that.

If a bunch of healers quit, don’t worry. A bunch of DPS are apparently also going to quit because their combat addons and weakauras are being disabled. The overall proportion of people playing should stay roughly the same.

Yeah pretty much. Don’t need much other than to know that I’ll have to use base UI in WoW.
If I’m gonna play a game with no combat addons, seriously simplified combat… I’ll at least play a game with good graphics, killer story, and banger music. That would be FFXIV. Should try branching out. You’ll see that the world of video games is far more vast than WoW and you don’t have to settle for a game that doesn’t play the way you want it to.
