Did you miss the part where they have been allowing this for the past 20 years? That’s a big reason why people still play the game. Maybe that’s why the majority of other MMOs have failed. It’s something different that Blizz does and the game has lasted longer than most other MMOs.

I don’t want the stuff that does fights for us. I am okay with DBM going away. I am okay with Large portions of Weakauras getting nuked. It’s the customization being collateral damage that we have a problem with.

Most likely will, if Blizzard gonna remove this stuff they should at least match the quality of what these addons already established.
Meters are already needed because of potential deadweight outcomes in harder content.

You are asking for that, maybe you don’t realize it but the way the addons work rely on the same underlying premise which is being removed from what the addons can access.
So again, your better argument is to ask blizzard to add their own functionality specific to that, which can then allow an addon to handle the presentation.

The very idea of Blizzard matching the quality of addons like Vuhdo is so laughable that I could never take anyone that actually thinks that would ever happen seriously. Blizzard’s UI design is absolutely laughable.
I haven’t touched Blizzard’s UI in years because of the customizations options I have. I don’t expect them to pull it off myself lol.
I’m just eager to see the results.

I’ve been maining a resto druid almost exclusively for the past 15 years. If I have to use the stock raid frames to heal, I am not going to be healing.

The base UI has been massively improved compared to what it was years ago.
I think I have a couple custom addons that increase buff size and remove DPS icons from raid frames…beyond minor tweaks like this, what major functionality does Vudhu add?
Well, first you can’t bind more than one function to the same key (like with modifiers). Second, it’s not customizable in look and feel the way Vuhdo is. I’m not talking about the stuff like predicting healing and incoming healing tracking. I don’t need that, and I’m fine if that goes away.
I am absolutely NOT giving up my customization. I’ve already unsubscribed, and they have a very limited window to fix this before I decide to not stay even if they fix it later. The sheer amount of hubris and lies coming out of the dev team over this is disgusting, and I don’t want to do business with this company any more. They lied to the players, and they lied to the addon developers.
