You keep talking about genre. You dont even realize you are playing an action game
Ok lol
“Try the massive multiplayer online roleplaying game for free up to level 20!” -World of Warcraft
You want to continue down this path we are on. That is all I am getting from this back and forth
people who make complaints like this, will never participate in testing, or even provide basic info when tech support request it.
complainers just want to complain.
they don’t want to be part of the solution.

Why are you still playing “How to train your dragon”? Come play classic
Why is there a thread in tech support with over 2k replies and 80k views?
Reddit is also flooded, a simple google search can show you…
Seems to me the feedback is valid.
Lolol that this is your “final nail” and not when all the sexual abuse and “Bill Cosby” rape room came out.
Man, I’m not gonna lie to you I’ve been saying Hello-Goodbye to wow for 17 year’s. You will be back.
I think it would be interesting but I’m not entirely convinced. I think you would see something In the universe with a different play style… Something you don’t have to invest much time in and that’s easier to maintain
“I’m quitting!”
buys a sub
"I’m really quitting for sure!
buys 3 pet/mounts in the game store
“Yep I really am quitting I’m walking out the door!”
Buys 6 wow tokens for gold
“you can hear my echos now I’m quitting im already out of the door!”
buys 12 month sub bundle
“Ahhaha! see I quit! I’m playing this (game here that weirdos play) now and its better!”
pre orders epic edition of next expansion
I’m in a different boat. I was like OK I’m gonna play this new expansion anyway because even though I didn’t like shadow lands at least it’s not Shadowland.
If I can’t get burned out on shadow lands I thought I’m golden.
Well 4 weeks into raid and 4 to 6 weeks in the mythic I am.
I am sitting on 11 more months thinking how can I undo this and not waste that subscription time.
Hopefully a short break from the game Will cure my woes.
Why in the world would someone who pays for a game need to go into the PTR to test a pretty bad issue that Blizzard has known about for a long time.
Shouldn’t that customer expect to be able to play a stable game? That’s like telling a customer who ordered a steak Medium rare why they didn’t go into the kitchen and test the steak before it was served.
OP paid $50-$80 for this game + a monthly sub. Stability should be expected.
I blame management for bad planning. They come up with highly ambitious concepts, and don’t involve engineering in the planning process. Then it turns out to be really hard to make it work, but they are going to stick to their plans.
Because they may have fixed it? The PTR is literally there to TEST upcoming changes to the live game. If you want to make sure something works before the build is pushed then you… download and check.
No, not really. We’re talking about live service gaming here, but there is a reason that a return window and demos exist. Expecting software and games to run flawlessly is a fools errand - you’ll always be disappointed.
Actually: it’s like a shop offering free samples, you declining, buying a box of that product, taking it home, and finding out you don’t like it.
At that point you have 2 options:
- not buying it again, realize it’s your own fault then move on
- cry and throw a tantrum, like a child.
OP obviously chose option 2.
BTW, just because you put money into something does not mean it should be expected to run flawlessly at all times - forever.
Actually you should expect that it runs well, especially if it is new. That’s like saying you shouldn’t expect that nice new big screen TV you spent your hard earned money on not to work.
I’m amazed at how many people accept mediocrity and blame the consumer instead of holding the company that makes the product accountable for not delivering what they promised.
It’s amazing, and no wonder the company doesn’t take action. They have your money and you really don’t care about the quality of the product you spent that money on. So why should they do better.
cool.
i’ll go find it.
i haven’t looked yet, but i already have the feeling that the majority of the posts are “blah blah being ignored” “rabble rabble still not fixed” etc.
…but “thousands of posts” doesn’t mean “thousands of posters”.
do tech support hang out in reddit?
(edit) i’ve gone through over 1,000 posts in the thread you referenced.
A grand total of 24 people have submitted dx diag.
When there’s something which is hard to pin down, the more data the better.
Only 24 people were willing to provide data after the thread was already active for a month, a blue requested more dx diag at least twice during this time.
Among the first thousand posts, was something which fixed the issue for a lot of people.
…and yes, scrolling to the end of the thread is just people barfing “this is the new blizzard” and “they don’t care” and “oh gee, still happening” etc.
again, TWENTY FOUR people were willing to submit helpful info.
twenty four.
24.
like i said, people don’t want to be part of the solution… they just want to complain.
No what is the point of trolling about this? People discuss their problems with products across several different platforms, are you new to the internet?
Whatever lol.
no, but clearly the people posting on reddit are.
how do they expect to get help with an issue, when there is nobody there who can help with their issue?
i need this one explained to me.
feel free to use crayon.
it’s not “whatever”.
it’s people wanting to complain, but not wanting to help work towards a solution.
Whatever.
