Levelling a monk rn. Healer with looms. I’ve been ending dungeons with more damage done than the others combined just with spinning crane kick. Pretty ridiculous tbh.
I’ve been leveling a character in BC dungeons lately and it does get weird when high and low level are grouped. I hope they make some adjustments - sometimes it’s hard to even get a cast off because mobs are melting so fast.
What you can’t hold aggro when I do 90% group dps with one button as my level 13 arcane mage? Skill issue!
Why is it like this? How can one spec be so broken and which others are as broken as arcane mage too?
They are probably doing what many do, get to level 11 and stop your experience gains, then get people to pay you to carry them through super easy dungeons. Works well with druid tanks, they can go ham and destroy dungeons super easy with little to no effort.
It’s not one spec, it’s any spec at low level who has an AOE spam ability.
damn that’s actually sick lol. I wonder how strong of a druid you can make at level 11
Given these issues were raised in November, the more obvious answer is they simply dont care.
My son wants to do dungeons as he is new to the game but Im just not interested. Its an insane slog, and as others have said, if its a high level healer and a low level tank then its going to be a nightmare.
Some dude on Reddit posted a video, a druid tank was strong enough to kill everything, bosses included, and the DPS could not keep up to even do any damage.
Yeah, working on a priest and I could heal every once in a while and Netflix or pull stupid dps with smite sw pain and another dot spell. It’s very silly and boring for me.
I don’t expect to learn everything about how BDK works. But at minimum knowing what each spell does and what tools I might use to generate threat.
Like my DK made it to DF last night, I tanked Brackenhide Hollow, and after a bit of a rough start (no one died) I got the hang of applying blood plague and laying DnD and keeping bone shield up. I fully understand that’s not enough to know how to tank a +20, but it’s a start, and it’s far more than I’d learn by chasing an arc mage through the WoD version of SMB.
Blizz really needs to look at scaling as a whole and rethink some of it. Feels horrible when you are a higher level character, doing your rotation as best as you can, and being outperformed by a level 20 spamming 1 or 2 buttons.
Should be Select Time Line, Separate groups by levels, and then when ques take to long expand them out based on the Level grouping and not just entire timelines. I’m so tired of trying to hold threat leveling a tank against low levels and then get complaints that I’m not doing my job when I am and I can’t do 5x more DPS to hold against your level 10 Fistweaving twinked butt spamming Crane Kick.
Some groups aren’t equip to deal with mechanics either because of those level range gaps, making it even more annoying. Like how is a group to interrupt a spell with only a single high level priest that has a 45 second CD but nope, everyone is getting feared and sent everywhere to pull even more stuff that can fear things. Sadly these changes don’t teach new players how to play a class and use things like Interrupts, Dispels, CD Management, etc… things that are needed for higher end stuff and it doesn’t ready them for even LFR raiding because “Hurr Durr” press buttons randomly works right?
I miss BC and Cataclysm when Heroic Dungeons were hard and ment to stop anyone wanting to raid who wasn’t ready to actually raid. It was a wall that either people stopped at knowing they weren’t good or forced them to get good to be able to handle harder things. Now heroics might as well be the participation trophy they gave out as a kid. I hated those then and I hate them still. If you didn’t learn how to do something right, struggled through, created trouble, and finished because the rest of the group covered you, it doesn’t mean you should be doing those things, it means you need to go back. Even WoDs little Training room to get Silver on was a good idea to keep some people out of what they shouldn’t be doing. Bring back the Hard Heroics and Proving Grounds again.
I just made a level 11 druid for this and yeah it’s pretty wild. Can’t wait to get full dungeon gear and enchant it all as meta as possible lol.
I’m not going to bother with selling runs or anything like that, but it’s fun to carry in a zero stress environment.
Thinking I might need to start running dungeons as I don’t have my escapes yet for bgs and it’s tough. Even being weak I’ll sometimes top KBs but that’s mainly kill stealing when I jade lightning them when the fights almost over and I don’t need to heal.
A large part of this is due to the 2h talent being on the wrong side of the tree for most dps specs. In 10.0.7 it’s being given base line - and that will likely put 2h as the default choice.
Scaling
What’s the problem?
Again, what’s the problem?
40k dps is not mythic plus levels of damage. Also, again, what’s the problem?
Ye
Sounds like a level 11 twink.
They are quite ridiculous lol.
That’s how they do level boosting I think.
But it’s the scaling, in reality he’s only doing like 500dps but it scales up and looks like 40k for you.
Weird, I just leveled a holy priest 10-70 in dungeons this past week and didn’t have any issues healing the tanks, or anyone. I did however notice the huge discrepancy between class damage outputs.
u should see my dps in dungeons kek
Noticed this as well. Some classes are completely useless, and then you’ve got like balance druid/arcane mage deleting mobs
Which expansion ?
Some are far more broken than others.
Try being a level 50 healer in a BFA dungeon healing a level 12 tank.
