Good job on ending boosting. But the gold farms are still on going

Honestly, you have retail if you’re interested in a game with no sense of community. Classic still has a chance if we really did want to salvage it.

Well yes, gatekeeping is the primary argument for anti-RDF.

wahh. i can’t farm gold because I’m an incompetent communist. force everyone else to suck so we can suck equally like crabs in a bucket.

I have classic with the community I have built, what do you mean??

Again I don’t work for blizzard.

They don’t pay my bills.

I don’t get medical or dental from them.

I have no 401k.

It is not my job to police their game for them.

Hiring GMs isn’t hard…they don’t care, why should I?

Communists are perfectly capable of farming our own gold. I certainly don’t claim OP.

You wouldn’t join a group where the raid leader is known to steal the pot or ninja loot would you? it’s the same idea but against gold buyers stop being a drama queen.

Yep. go mine rocks like a proper player should.

then they rant went the market is flooded and/or you undercut them jsut to sell the rock.

damn scrubs ruining the economy selling at low price. Well, yeah. I really need the 10 gold. want to keep up up prices…buy it and flip. ME…I Just want the 10 gold now. Market controllers or a lucky newer player getting a hell of a deal? I don’t care really. 10 gold was wanted. 10 gold was obtained. yay me!

Or they call you a bot.

he, he…didn’t answer my whispers. he’s a bot. no…I hate mining, not paying attention to chat and game audio is off. I am watching/listening to youtube on the side to kill the pain.

They don’t have to be the way

They are by design.

You make gold based on the amount of gold on the server.

That’s how it’s been.

Ore and herbs and all other trade goods prices reflect the servers gold amount.

Starting over doesn’t change that.

Great no one has gold so everything is dirt cheap…it’s the same thing as everyone having gold and things are more expensive…

Even eve has issues.

and they hire real at least one real economist. Some lucky economist gets to work on a more fun game economy rather than be goverment employee X among others making spreadsheets f doom till they get some lucky break to move up in the gs world. or until a whole bunch of gs-12+'s retire for US side.

and it has issues. take many thousands of geeks fueled off caffeine. they will find ways…

game company employee works on game 8 to 12 hours a day. goes home. and chills. most likely not thinking much on the game.

we work 8 to 12 and we think about the game. alot. we all have our fun diversions to make bad days better. we…will win.

Game dev is surfing their phone as they are at some place their other half dragged them too. its not wow surfing most likely.

we get dragged by our other halves. we are wow surfing lol. this is how we win lol.

noting I don’t blame them. I am sure some higher ups would love if I lived and breathed work on my offtime. they aren’t paying enough for that tbh. they get devotion when I am on the clock. off the clock? yeah…no. no overtime…yeah see tomorrow morning, or monday morning. whatever comes first for a next work day lol.

Lmao.

I understand that but I was saying that it really does not need to be that way. The design concept for how they made the game in terms of its economy is flawed massively.

Totally understood, but point was that WoW’s as well as most MMO’s Economy designs are a pitiful joke that don’t need to be so easily manipulated. I know people will always find a way, I mean… look at RL.

If I could post a meme about you not having TEGRITY I would right now lmao.

“Druids have an unfair advantage which encourages RMT, please make all gathering professions have a 95% chance of instantly kill you whenever you try to gather herbs/mine ores/fish so farmers can’t hurt “muh economy” with their easy unlimited resources anymore”

Farming a billion mountain silverage and flooding the market with it drops the value of mountain silverage. It doesn’t not affect plaguebloom or the price of arcane crystals.

Farming a billion gold will drop the value of gold which then increases the cost of every item server wide.

See the difference

no, indonesia goverment didnt ban wow or battlenet, blizzard already registered their products at July 29th, so wow is still playable without vpn/dns.

Pretty sure the point was to make it less lucrative seeing as they are unable to halt the practice entirely.

I came here for the sole reason to complain about the farm/mine bots. I just resubscribed a week ago and my entire time leveling has been constantly interrupted by level 70 mages using a script to farm all the adds in the area. I constantly see mining bots, sometimes multiple stuck together on the same route, in every single zone. It is obvious that Blizzard doesn’t care about this because anyone who opens their eyes can see these bots. It destroys the game’s economy and causes everyone to buy gold from third parties (not that Blizzard punishes people they catch buying gold). Makes you wonder where all the micro-transaction money is going to.

Yeah, but the boosting still seems a lot less either way so I mean it did do something at least, for now.
