Wow I didn’t think I’d get more than 1 or 2 replies hahaha. Well this goes to show that there is something wrong with the current game and interest in classic. Unless people spend more time on the forms now?? Idk my last post was probably in 2014 lol.
Anyways if I can try to address the negative comments all together I would say:
A: I didn’t make this post to be like screw you I quit. I stated that. If I did I would of just of quit and not bothered. Like I said I’ve never unsubbed before due to bad content but this time around I truly feel like things have gotten dull AND that it could have nothing to do with blizzard at all and could just be me lol. Really learn to read for sure eh lol but anyways.
B: I said I’d be interested in classic WoW and nothing until then. Not like they’re releasing another xpac or a patch I obviously care about so classic being my only other option I am excited to try it. I never said or intended to say bam classic will fix everything or keep me subbed magically because I am going to love it for ever. It could be a flop. It might not to it or it could be screwed up and disappointing. I don’t know. None of us really know for sure but it is something coming up and it will be fun for me anyways to try out. Don’t worry if it’s not I’ll just leave lol. For those looking forward to a post I quit classic you’ll have to get your negative fix elsewhere;).
C: I have played classic WoW and loved it. Never got to raid till tbc but the year and a half of classic I played was very enjoyable. So if I do get to raid that’s a bonus. Will I get into a raid guild maybe not do I have the time I had no but hat doesn’t mean it can’t be fun until it’s not then just move on to something else lol. Wow isn’t the only thing in my life. If classic doesn’t cut it that’s fine lol I’ll make it. I’ll go to another game or other things in life lol nbd.

D: trust me I know vanilla sucked at a lot of things. It was broken for the most part lol. Especially raiding on my priest. Would of loved to dps as shadow with less responsibility lol. But you gotta admit. Getting a gear upgrade felt good and it wasn’t going to be replaced the next week or in three quests.

So I’m just simply stating I can’t wait to try classic WoW and see what it has to offer. This did work for rs in a way when they re released rs classic on mobile. Actually I herd it was pretty successful. If it’s good cool if not cool. Don’t read into it so much

Runescape Old-school is literally 70% bots and you get banned for not being politically correct even once.

And it’s full of angry manchildren forever stuck in their rose tinted glasses.

bye

No I just responded to you. That’s it and that’s all I’m gonna say lol

You described exactly how I feel and I’ve been playing the game since Vanilla. Only ever dropped my sub for about two months during that entire time. There are a lot of things I don’t care for or am tired of dealing with.

A couple of examples would be pretty basic, I wish flying was available once you hit 120, and I also very much dislike the grind behind the new races and wish they could have been unlocked with some sort of intro quest at the start of the xpac. I understand why they didn’t do this I just completely disagree with it.

These two things among many others, even if they were fixed…I can honestly say I don’t know if I’d be anymore interested in playing WoW then I am now. To say I’m burnt out of the game wouldn’t be 100% correct, however, BFA is the first time I’m over the grind. Maybe because there is so much of it this xpac it has turned me off WoW. If this is the future of other expansions I definitely will not be around for them.

As it is I don’t log on much anymore and will be letting my sub run out soon. It’s pretty sad to do this! Because it’s WoW! But man…just not having fun.

Weird, I think Classic will save retail, bc it’s going to require a retail sub for access. There have been well over 100 million individual WoW accounts created since launch. We have like 2 million live, if that.

RuneScape put out a retro version and it quickly surpassed its retail version…

Sounds like retail WoW. These new forums you get suspended if you fart in your own house while you’re typing.

Yep. Blizz has gone full on thought police.

Again, over dramatic. It’s nowhere near the dumpster fire people claim. Sure, there are things wrong with it. But a lot right too. If you don’t like it anymore, then fine. I respect that. This isn’t vanilla, and I’m glad it’s not personally.

Classic WoW has more wrong with it than Retail WoW.

Since we are playing the over-exaggeration game.

Strawman argument. Travel involved for questing has nothing to do with encounters needed to overcome, however it was part of the atmosphere of the game and, oh yeah, there were even encounters to overcome as part of that journey.

Remember the elite ogres in Loch Modan? On level the quests were undoable. 3 or 4 levels higher and they were challenging solo.

Even that wasn’t left in game because they changed the ogres to normal encounters. Of course none of that matters to you since you only care about endgame (doing the same content over and over and over). I like(ed) all the game. Mine was removed, but they left yours in. With Classic I get mine back and you want to try and stop it? Thanks a bunch … for nothing.

Don’t get me started. Had a post removed because I didn’t like some of the SJW content they added. Want to wager how long this post lasts?

LoL

I had a 1 day suspension was using a two letter acronym that stood for male cow doody. Laughed pretty hard at the sad state things are in. We are seriously getting censored by college interns that prolly aren’t old enough to buy a beer who’s college experience is maybe two programming courses and at least one sociology class where they were instructed on WHAT to think, not how to do it.

To those asking that about classis and saying you saw it so why go back…

Game play was fun, it wasnt about end content only… bgs were a blast, grar between players did not have a vast gulf.

Most impirtantly was characters had depth. Lots of fun talents and utility. You felt you were developing a character. Some people were into crafting and that alone kept their intrest as it had a lot going.

Bfa has some good things but the direction to make gameplay feel line a cobsoke game bites.
