Yeah some people just think you can farm any area especially a high traffic spot like water eles on a pvp server on a fresh/undergeared character.

Except in the time it would take him to level a Hunter to 60, learn to sell solo DMT, then sell DMT, he could easily make the 800g off of Grave Moss and Fadeleaf, both of which sell and are available inside SM, where no competition exists and can easily be solo’d by a 60. Your advice was bad.

You can make more doing both my suggestions and are only limited to lock out slightly on the DMT buff selling.

I literally just bought my alts epic mount, starting from zero gold, after farming nothing but SM herbs for a week. You aren’t hitting 60 and learning to solo DMT on a brand new Hunter in a week.

Actually I’m using the SM herbing myself and I’ve made 350g the last couple days just hopping on here and there. It’s not a fortune but it’s easy and uncontested and the herbs sell pretty good in my server. And I only had to get my herbalism up to 160 to start.

Yea, might wanna check the prices in your server for grave moss and fadeleaf. It’s really easy to get a stack of both. Takes about 15 minutes to do your five lockouts every hour and on my server they sell for like 30g a stack. I just hopped on a lot through the evening and herbed there and have managed to make like 350g so far. Fadeleaf requires a higher skill but you can start at 160 in graveyard with the grave moss.
Edit to add: I’d also after doing the fifteen minutes I’d run down to WPL in Andorhal and kill the mobs there for bone fragments, which used to sell for more bud looks like they are much cheaper now. (Like 1g to 20s)

I would suggest not taking up mining. Lots of heavy lifting there. Stick to the pretty flowers. They are lightweight. Let us know when you earnt enough cash for your mount.
im at 1600g atm with no proffs, been farming feathers and tanking dungeons. what a blast -_-

Best farm right now is the Mature blue dragon sinew farm. Everyone is making hunters to be top dps in TBC and they are buying them like crazy. Buy a lot of mage food and sit in winterspring farming those dragons all day long. They sell for 1k on my server.
off to see if a Paladin can solo those
