You most be new around here. This kind of activity has been going on for the better part of, well forever.
So people would gear up with World Quest in a couple month then quit while raiders/M+ players would just quit after the same amount of time because they would run out of anything interesting to do.
Sounds like a lose/lose.
People pretending its all tokens people use for boosts are silly anyway, some people’s end game is actually the economy and are good at playing it. These are the people buying boosts generally. Boosters themselves often buy them to kickstart their alts too.

What’s funny is where the heck did I say world quests? There needs to be another Avenue to gear solo. What that is I don’t know but I have ideas. Really wake up people. Think bigger.
People are afraid to run things with randoms but don’t have the time to dedicate to scheduled, guild runs. The paid run services are fulfilling a need.

Yep it’s going to take just short of divine intervention to turn this ship around and away from microtranactions and surprise mechanics in the near future. Wait till they say our game is losing money because we lost to many subs so we need to add more cash shop items or development of wow will stall.
Whaddya mean “wait”? The only thing left for them to do is put the literal items up for sale in the shop. That’s all that’s left.

Carrying has only been increasing with each new expansion, people have been selling them for a long time, it really started to ramp up with the introduction of challenge mode back in MoP. Any decently populated server had people buying and selling every day.
Is only natural that the amount of carries would increase exponentially when they introduced m+, the only thing the token did was inflate the amount of gold you had to pay for a carry.
“WE BEEN THERE” for a long time my friends, only difference is that Blizzard gets a cut, but you have been able to pay with gold for any achievements for a long long time, no matter where that gold came from.

Differences in opinion doesn’t equate to denial. Especially when it comes to something as subjective as thinking boosts are the 4th end game. You have dismissed every argument thinking you know it all, “I’m around the best of the best players”.
Paid boosts happen and have always happened because people are lazy and want things now. The game design doesn’t force anything. If anything it is easier for the average player to get geared this expansion than many others.

The last token I bought was 185k and it’s gone up, seems there’s more people wanting tokens for gold than are buying tokens for cash.
