Going To Remove /Spit On Retail Too?

If you really (and I mean really) stop and think about it. It’s just unnecessarily rude. I mean yes, we’re “at war” but you are not your avatar. While I have seen multiple people who have said “if you are Alliance yes, I hate you in real life” and take the whole “faction” thing way too seriously and forget they’re in a video game, there are things that are just not necessary.

Tech?! Therein lies the problem.
Bots are dealt with, with some elbow grease and manual labor, not tech. Maybe blizz should start spending all of the money they get to improve the game itself.

You have it in reverse. Near none of them are reskins of existing models, and they all have unique animation and effects. Compare the Vulpine Familiar to Llothien Prowler, should basically be the same in a sense, right? Oh no. Vulpine familiar is far better designed, more detailed, its animation is generally much more alive.

I would not mind it at all, if the store mounts were literal reskins, different colours and what not. But they are not that, they are far more.

So yes… yes it does.

No.
People complain because they still care, it is an important clause to remember.

I have not played since BFA, not bought the most recent expansion. But no, fact of the matter is, the in game experience is terrible and there is nothing to connect to.

Spit is my favorite emote.

I use it primarily on my guildies, but occasionally while I see someone riding around I’ll throw a quick one at them.

Most of the time people just laugh, but every once in a while someone pretends like they literally got spit on IRL and blows up on me. Its the best!

Yeah, upsetting people is why I use it.

So…

/me spits on you.

Always a good’n because then everyone thought they were spit on since it shows everyone you

Look on the bright side…

We are probably going to see a new store mount with all proceeds going towards something for women?

Maybe they will let us have a rideable Kael’thas?

But this is what the people want! This is what they have been CAMPAIGNING FOR!

Oh kinds like SE. You know they toss some unpaid intern onto the game every here and there and tell them to ban a few bots daily. It works wonders for the game and really makes me wish blizzard would do the same.

We can’t have that. WoW needs to be a safe place.

I hope so.

As much as I hate to be soft on this type of stuff, it’s only going to make the social experience better. On more than one occasion I’ve been /spat on at the wrong time (mostly in pre-modern WoW), and it can be incredibly tilting. You could actually ruin someone with this kind of stuff. Granted, I’m pretty sure folks that still play retail are as soft and indolent as it comes, so I’m pretty sure it never even gets used. Regardless, I’m for it.

I hope they don’t get rid of it, it’s a great way to detect who the sweaty raging neckbeards are. (especially the ones who have it hotkeyed to use during pvp)

How do you not know how to use spell check in this day and age?

I hope it gets removed. That emote is disgusting.

How will the denizens of Goldshire react? No longer can players playout the fantasy of the famous Cardi B lyrics.

“Spit in my mouth, look in my eyes.” - from Cardi B’s WAP.

The /spit emote doesn’t really offend me in any way, but I don’t even understand why it’s still in game. It’s just an unappealing emote that can’t be construed in a positive way at all by the way most of the player base uses it… or how anyone could even use it?

Maybe /spitting on the raid boss your guild finally downed? I don’t know… But there are plenty of other emotes for that.

I don’t want to live in this Azeroth anymore.

If you have a problem with /spit you should also have a problem with /fart, at least that seems like a reasonable assumption to me.

Also possible /rude, chicken, burp, moan, gloat, laugh, rofl, threaten, insult, mock, slap, stink, teaser, snicker, taunt and more but the list is incredibly long and I don’t feel like going through them all lol.

Insert “remove /sit”. Now see what you did?

As I said, I don’t really have a problem or feel offended by it in any way other than it just being a pretty gross emote. Or just remove the ability to /spit on characters. There’s zero need to be /spitting on players. /spitting on the ground if someone is RP’ing as some old western dude spitting their dip or whatever… The emote itself doesn’t have to be gross.

But comparing /spit to /laugh or /taunt is reaching pretty hard there, man. I mean… really reaching
