I have a rank 9 cloak and just got the talent where you gain 200 sanity from killing a boss and I STILL FAIL these things…
I honestly give the up man… I can dodge purple crap on the ground and stuff but as a shadow priest with 0 mobility these things just suck.

I only have 38 corruption on… one t3 piece … and its CONSTANTLY PROCING IN VISIONS…
This crap just is not fun man, I hate this vision stuff so much it is by far the WORST content you have ever forced on me In the time I have played this game…

Yes it’s definitely a problem with the visions there. You may have better luck in Orgrimmar in a week with better prefixes.
I run 5 mask solo in org and 4 mask in SW with 70 corruption, don’t cry because you can’t do it.
Edit: I do agree that as shadow they suck but you gotta remember to work on your route and major essence usage, corr procs because it’s an “on damage taken” thing so when a lot of stuff hits you it procs more often as opposed to in dungeons where you take less instances of damage at once.

I’m sorry to say it OP, but this is definitely a you problem. Also, thing from beyond doesn’t proc unless you have 40 or higher corruption, so you’re either lying about your corruption, or your lying about thing from beyond. Either way, definitely PEBKAC

Helps to post on the character you’re doing them on, its obviously not that Gnome Hunter.
I don’t know how good or bad Spriests are but Visions can be done with a group so maybe try that ?
As a Destruction Lock I can do a full clear + mask pretty easily now. Some classes have it easier I guess but hasn’t always been the case with solo content anyway ?

I think you’ll have a better time in visions when you realize you can only do so much per run toward upgrading your cloak. I think the max amount of pages per run is always capped at 2. Then when your cloak is at a higher level, you become much stronger and can do exciting visions like 5+masks

Vision right now are soloable by everyone, the fault is on the player.

I hate that I was supposed to get guaranteed corruption gear and I got a helm. That was complete bunk.

Yes I understand I’m not good at them but I got my cloak to 9 on my dh with ease and on my shadow priest its 200x more frustrating to deal with.
Yeah that’s because playing a DH way too easy with an overloaded kit and ton of tankiness.
You gonna struggle way more with any other spec that Havoc.

Maybe take off your corruption and you won’t get hit by the stuff?

I can do a full clear with +1 mask with 2 full orbs left over. The higher you level your cloak and the more research talents you get, the easier and easier it becomes. Just stick with it. They are not hard.

Thing from beyond has a chance to proc when you take damage. It’s also shadow damage along with the eye so increased shadow damage taken from voidwalkers increases corruption damage taken.
If you only have 38 corruption as you say then thing from beyond isn’t proccing. Are you sure it’s not the madness affix from medium zones?
I haven’t had any problems as shadow, remember your ghastly goulash food, VT everything in sight you’re in combat with, move on every void bolt and don’t over move / try to kite random mobs when they start meleeing you and you’ll be fine.

I can 4 mask solo as disc only have to use one orb. Check out some helpful guides.
It’s imperative you interrupt/focus certain adds down as one cast can ruin a run.

Either you’re going into the vision with the curse debuff from various things in the assaults (it increases your corruption additively and lasts HALF AN HOUR) or you’re confusing it for the Dark Delusions madness effect; it has a nearly identical appearance (but stuns you and does far less damage).
