Is God comp going to be far superior to MLX when it comes down to winning games in this meta or would the win rate be pretty similar if skill level and communication was equal… let’s say in the sub 2k rated.??
God comp is a crazy strong dampening comp which up until they rot you down can randomly kill you every go and just never die.
MLX has to run for their dear lives 90% of the game and hope they dont get murdered.

Depends which lock spec you play with imo. Currently, I think destro and demo are better suited to play with a mage. Demo has pet issues with the rez timer and pet squishiness so that’s going to appear as a major problem in this fast paced meta. I actually think destroMLX (frost version) will be one of the scary caster comps to fight when the dust settles. MLX just feels unreliable rn because sp is just a much better replacement for the lock when playing with a mage. Lock performance is kinda subpar currently with lots of melee classes doing a very high amount of burst dmg.
Sp/mage is prob best with hpal right now. Rdruid is most likely the second best option I’d say. Maybe in the long run after getting access to all conduits and the meta slows down a bit with pacing, we might see rdruid bounce back to being a solid healer, but this is just a speculation.

I’d would want to play affliction lol… and the fact that you didn’t mention the spec worries me lol

I think it’s decent and chanimal is still playing it.
Not arguing with you, just really want to know if Affliction/mage/X is truly subpar to Godcomp right now.
Also, if that is the case… how is God Comp performing right now?
I thought mage mage hpal was the best comp?

As the year continues and ilvl/stats gets higher, I fully predict this as well.
As long as you have a Fire Mage and an Hpal the 3rd doesn’t really matter.
God comp is insanely strong right now definitely better than mlx

I think when Affliction Warlock has access to their hands down best Soulbind we’ll see a lot more Lock over Priest.

MLX as a comp brings a lot of single target threat. Aff thrives off cleave and rot esp with its current design. You dont strictly have any single target burst abilities and because of that the aff version imo doesn’t feel to be as potent. Last time I remember affMLX being really good was in MoP and maybe WoD. The comp generally does a lot better with destro or demo.
