While doing a bit of fishing near The Merchant Coast, I came across a body and naturally I had to do some investigating. After looking for any valuables and finding zilch, I noticed a shipping manifest stuck to the bottom of their boot.

This got me thinking about my own entrepreneur ventures and the many hands I have in different money jars so to speak. I got skills but no customers since I am just starting out on my own. Mudlarking (washed up crates where items inside are still salvageable and profitable), a bit of cooking skills since my pops was in the restaurant business and my second cousin 3 times removed is a gemologist so I know a bit about that as well.

So hereā€™s the dealio. if Iā€™m going to make some serious moola, I need to join forces with other goblins and the best way to do that is to offer my skills to you.

Whaā€™d ya say? Can you use my skillset?

Flywheel, sitting on a green velvet loungechair with a plate of grapes beside her, noticed that the red button on her portable mailbox was flashing.

ā€œOh, whatā€™s this? Hopefully this means that Stoneclaw caged pet I was trying to auction for 100,000 gold finally sold!ā€

Licking her lips, and wiping her sticky fingers on her purple and orange dress with excitement, Flywheel yanked on the lever on the mailbox, and out popped a neatly folded brown paper letter. Her eyes greedily scanned the contents of the page.

ā€œKitschyjewel Catchpenny?! What an amazing name! That gal sounds like she could make me a small fortune!ā€

Pressing a blue button on the side of her tray table which was holding the grapes, a drawer suddenly opened with a squeak. It contained a stack of plain parchment (decorated around the edge with gold frills) and some feathered mechanical writing utensils. Selecting her implements, Flywheel began to write a reply.

Dear Miss Kitschyjewel,

So from what Iā€™m gathering from ya skillset, it sounds like ya can fish up a bob or two. More importantly, ya got keen eyes, and a nose for a profit-making opportunity! Salvaging from ships is definitely a moolah-making venture we have yet to fully explore. In fact, with all these Kul Tiran ships accidentally sinking themselves in the Port of Dazarā€™Alor, why not get there before all the crabs and barnacles? Thatā€™s valuable supplies just going soggy and becoming waste.

And ya know what they say about goblins. Weā€™re all about protecting the environment and our doing our bit of recycling.

So a salvage mission specialist then, eh? I think we can make room for ya on the budget. I mean, if ya could add explosives to that skill set, Iā€™m sure we could talk about a significant payrise, but until thenā€¦we can work with what ya got. Better that someone like ya does the work, so I can sit back and uhā€¦balance the books. Yeah.

Come on over to my office. Itā€™s located in that big building with the telescope in Fuselight, Badlands. From there, I keep a good EYE on things, haha. Yeah. I check to make sure none of our employees are slacking off. Tropical beach parties only on allocated days off!

Anyhow, if ya think ya can handle a meager starting wage (Iā€™ll be generous and say 10 gold per week), then we totally got an employment opportunity waiting for ya, missy. Plus, the bonus is that ya get to have a huge gaggle of goblins ready to fight on your side whenever ya cross toes with (i.e. badly swindle) some irate, but previously unsuspecting pandaren. It happens!

Iā€™ll start working on this contract now, and have it ready by the time ya get all. All we need is ya signature. Donā€™t worry about reading all the fine print.

We are looking for a goblin healer to join our weekly raid team! You have two classes to choose from: shaman or priest.

We will take either, and any spec will do! You may also be asked to DPS sometimes, so please learn a DPS spec as well and carry appropriate gear. Sorry, this invitation is for goblins only - other races and classes need not apply.

Cross-server goblins are okay! If you would like to race change or faction change an old character, we would love that.

The weekly raid is Friday nights, 10pm-12am CST. We are not a hardcore raid group. We are a group of RPers, doing a bit of raiding for friendship and fun. Currently we have worked our way through normal Uldir, and we hope to get down Ghuun for the first time this week. Once we have finished Uldir, we will move onto normal Battle of Dazarā€™Alor. Heroic raiding is not really on the agenda at this stage. We have been raiding together since about September 2018.

We do use voice chat through Discord when raiding. You are not required to have a microphone or to speak, but it does make things easier.

Adding to my raiding request above - we are also in need of more goblin warlocks! Your summoning skills, healthstones, and void portals will be called upon often. Weā€™d also like to train our new warlock to help us run orbs in the Ghuun fight!

Note: As stated above we are a very laid-back raiding team. Our group is comprised of a variety of individuals, many of whom are new to raiding, and are still learning mechanics. It is pretty chaotic, and we do wipe often. If loot and progression is your goal, then this is not the raiding group for you. If you just want to have fun, laugh, and encourage people, and maybe see some new scenery, then you will LOVE hanging out with us!

We had a very special event tonight! Our all goblin raid team (no paladins, monks, druids, or demon hunters) have been working for the last few months through normal Uldir. We fought all the way to Ghuun, but weā€™ve been struggling to get enough numbers to have all the orb runners we need plus DPS on those dreaded Cyclopean Terrors.

I went to my awesome goblin racial discord for help. They were very supportive!

We had goblins from Wyrmrest Accord, Emerald Dream, and Moon Guard all team up together, and guess what?! WE DID IT!

I think we got Ghuun down on about the 5th try. There was 15 of us. Some of the goblins were having a party on the other side of the big slug when this pic was taken.

Wow, what an amazing feeling! Iā€™m still buzzing. Weā€™re not hardcore raiders, weā€™re just RPers having a good time, and I love seeing these server boundaries get put aside. I made a heap of new friends tonight :smiley:
