Lore wise any class can be learned. Just because it isnāt common doesnāt make it an excuse to keep the restrictionsā¦ besides Druid/ Shaman needs to be playable on more races. Especially Druid.

the reason druid isnt on more races isnt because of lore its because every race gets its own druid models and colors. so bliz would have to make a new model and color scheme for every single race they give druid to

Show me where in Blizzardās written lore that says they canāt. It might cause the Velfs pain to do so like the undead, but as far as I am aware no where is it specifically stated they canāt. And I have no idea where you are getting the idea that green Orcs canāt.
It also never states that the use if the Light by the Magāhar is punishable by death, or even that they never use it.

Blizzard never changed the lore, The Light is the source of a Paladins power.
Repeat after me, a Paladin gets their power from The Light.
Bliz just took the concept of the Naaru and greatly expanded it.
Draenei - Naaru = Lightbulbs
Tauren - Sun = Sun-The-Light
Troll - Rezan = Light Loa, even with his death some can still call on The Light. Might be a lore update down the road.
Night Elf - Elune - They seem to have dumped this idea from Legion.
A lot of this is Bliz really stretching the lore but you can argue each to exist. Goblins, not so much.
This. It should never have happened. Shamans should be horde only and pallies alliance only.

noā¦ the lore has always been that anyone can weild the light this is a fact. you only have to believe in what you are doing this is why arthas looses his ability to use the light in his caimpaign against the udnead because his actions were morally questionable and he didnt have faith he was making the eright choice
this is also why there is an entire faction of undead who can use it
That is categorically false from a Lore perspective.
It would be a lot if done all at once, but not so bad if they just give it to another race every once in a while. Iām pretty sure horde druids are limited to only tauren, tauren2, troll and troll2.
Every person I have talked to who are into lore has told me otherwise so this is a first.
yea they are. vulpera getting druid though would make it the most played race in the horde so maybe skip them for now

Limited? Give me a break. There are currently ONE HUNDRED and NINETY-FOUR race/class combinations available. Thatās not limited.
Itās just not a free-for-all.
Granting each races specific abilities, classes and looks is what makes each one unique which gives them complexity, variety and flavour. Making the races one-size-fits-all would take all that away and turn them into shallow, empty images.
I guess if you are just looking for a self-insert, that might be what you want but this game comes with a fully realized world, thousands of years of backstory, complex cultural systems, ect. so shallow and empty does not live here.
A ātrueā role-playing experience is creating a role, putting yourself in it and having an adventure, period. In the original pen, paper and dice RPGs, you didnāt get to just pick and choose everything as you willed either, you ārolledā your character and then made choices based on those rolls.

Well Void Elves would be a logical jump since being a Void Elf is defined by using the Void. If they could wield the Light they would not be a Void elf.
Also it has been strongly implied Void/Fel/Light are all mutually exclusive. Especially Void and Light, think Naaru.

At least with Shaman, all they have to do is make deals with elementals. Any race can talk to an elemental if they find one willing to talk. It isnt like allowing more customization is going to unbalance anything. It is just allowing people to make the characters they want to play. And if you are an RPer itās your job to figure out how it works within the limits of the lore. Goes for Palandins too.
but the thing is that there are 0 lore restrictions anymore. blizz got rid of them all.
