So my question to other players, are all GMs as dorky as the one i just talked with? I got a paragraph of un needed role playing text before they even answered my question and then another right after they did give me my answer. I maybe nerdy but its a little much, cant they just talk to me like a normal person instead of like that weird kid in the 80s who plays to much D&D and wears a wizards cap all the time? I rarely talk to a GM, but i dont remember them doing that… ever.

If it was with this character, you’re on a roleplay server. I don’t experience that on non-roleplay servers. Maybe they are just trying to fit into the gameplay chosen by your server.

Though, I haven’t been able to speak to a GM in years. So maybe it changed. All responses I get are from email and usually days after any response would be relevant.

Incorrect. Vanilla saw them hanging out in different towns.

I seen this myself back in the day. More than once during legion when i had a problem i’d get TP’d to some place i never seen and i would see the GM’s toon while they helped with a problem. They are people too im not sure why this guy thinks they should cater to his every whim.

here is an example you crybaby. Mid 2018 i was having a problem with a player going out of his way to send death threats and i made a ticket and i got teleported to some random building and i saw the GM’s toon while he asked me to explain in detail the issue and he literally stayed in the room with me while he banned the other guy who was sending death threats. He never said he did but like an hour later i seen a trial toon "free(NAME HERE) so he was 100% banned for it and i saw the GM the entire process.

I forgot to mention when he left he did an rp emote “in a puff of smoke “GM” disappears into thin air” and then i got teleported back to stormwind.

I kind of agree with the OP. We’re all nerdy since we play this game, but there are varying degrees of nerdiness. RPing is just too much for me. However, to each their own.

This is dumb to complain about. I love when they aren’t dropping the copy paste responses. When I need help, I try to make my tickets as fun as possible to read because I’ve seen posts on here from some ticket makers and it could make anyone hate their job.
