Kill the bear. Spider eggs phase out and cannot be harvested. Can still harvest off bears that are already dead. I’ve done this quest a stack of times on other toons but this is the first time I have seen it happen. On a druid in cat form for further detail. And I have skinning and LW as professions. That may or may not be relevant.
