That was a yearly sub you still pre purchase the expansion separately
Long time ago, I can’t remember if it was SC2 or WoW but one of them started those mini video series
I think Lord’s of War happened first maybe for promoting WoD but the SC2 team took the concept of those videos and applied it to hype up the last expansion for StarCraft 2 with their own version
Could be the other way around but my point is
I’m just saying if the Diablo marketing team pulls this off well why wouldn’t the other IPs use it too for their future products

And none of this has a thing to do with your poorly thought out thread. There is zero evidence people will only be able to get WoW beta keys through Twitch giveaways.
Who cares? WoW has used Wowhead to give away beta keys, as well. What does it matter? It’s not the only way to get beta.

I honestly don’t understand the issue. It’s not like twitch has a subscription, so do what everyone else does and open a couple streams that have drops running in some tabs. Mute and them minimize them, I use to do that while at work for World of Warships all the time.

You know there is an open beta the next weekend, right? Ah who am I kidding…
Not sure why people are so excited about this, but then i don’t get classic either. (And yes i gave it a fair try, the magic is gone) D2 gave me 3 good years of fun. I will always remember it for that, but it’s over now.
I’m just curious if blizz ever regrets getting involved with twitch. Personally I’d rather have a selfie camera in my mail use it and it pops up you got beta key.
I should be able to pop my tabard and automatically get into ANY beta Blizzard does.
I think I’ll just buy the game when it’s released in September.
