I don’t know who would suggest such a thing. All the werewolves I know of have tails. Except for worgen.

It’s the most common response to a worgen tails thread. “Werewolves in allll of these pieces of media don’t have tails, so worgen shouldn’t, either!”

That’s changing the lore.
That’s changing what they are intended to be.
Worgen were never intended to have tails.
Werewolves in fantasy vary a lot, and Worgen went along with the tailless look… Kinda like the London Werewolf and Skyrim Werewolves.
Playable Worgen were a big enough fan-service as it is.

Coat colors =/= suddenly sprouting limbs that the creature never had to begin with.

All these links are all about coat/fur/skin color.
Color mutations are very common among mammals, as well as other creatures. Ever wonder why your Brown Tabby can have a white spotted kitten?
Anyways. Looking at the original Worgen colors we were given, as well as the different locations we have Human Worgen in, having unique mutations like the new colors don’t seem that odd.
As for eye color, it appears that almost all the races of Azeorth have a very wide range of eye colors… Including purple!
Again, kinda like how this universe has crocodiles with 6 legs. Purple eyes are about as normal as that, I guess.

Blizzard always changes the lore so it wouldn`t be a really big problem. Also if im not mistaken the skyrim werewolf actually have a tail even if its small so, give worgens tail option
