For me, it’s not just about wanting tails because they would look cool on a worgen, but it’s more so because Blizzard keeps showing tailed worgens. If we can get a tailed worgen option, it doesn’t just open the doors for more possibilities for worgens, BUT, it would mean Blizzard actually sticking to their guns when it comes to art designs and giving us all the options they’ve teased in the past like glowing hands nightbournes and bearded trolls.
If Blizzard showed it in their official art, or mentioned it in the past such as 8 foot tall worgens, or normal haired worgens, then make it a option!

Give me my tail option Blizzard. I feel like I deserve it after spending money on a race change and suffering through the old cataclysm worgen for almost a decade. I don’t RP or anything. I just play the game to pvp, raid, collect stuff. If I’m gonna work towards my raiding progress, I wanna do it with a tail on me to stop me from being distracted from the awkward running animations worgens have. :>

Anyone put any thought on how the animations for tails should work? I would not want them to be too stiff.
Hoping to go all the way and tie them into emotes as well.
supposedly they’ve got the bones for it just not model implemented to use said bones. it wouldn’t be anything too difficult I mean it could be a quick and simple thing long as it’s done properly and it’d earn them some points in their favor with those of us who’d like the option. Sadly this thread gets attacked by trolls who’re calling this simple concept so many bad things and trashing on it because they can. It’s sad really seeing people who can’t be happy unless they’re making others upset… hopefully the trolls will give up and worgen will get their tails. Still… a tad annoyed at one person though who began demanding vulpera lose their tails for no reason… but I’m not going to stoop to their level and call them out by name. They know who they are and they can join their fellow trolls under the bridge of shame

You would have to dig through this post, but there is an animation where someone just stuck their own tail on the bones of the model.

Here ya go. Here’s a example of how it could work.
Honestly when it comes to the worgen tails, I’m hoping they get super animated with it seeing as how normal wolves/canines in general are super expressive with their tails. Can see a wolf tail and easily tell if ones angry or upset.
Also seeing as next expansion MIGHT be a dragon based expansion, and seeing as dragons have tails, who knows, maybe they can go over the top with the tail animations for em, along with fleshing out the tail animations for worgens to be more than just a motionless tail that only moves when you walk around like the other races, along with giving more animations to the other tailed races.
Also we’re close to 8888 replies. Hopefully we can hit it before the announcement on tuesday. 8888 is the lucky number!

boy would I lose all respect for Blizz if they screw this up… giving us dragons but without tails would be a clear sign how dumb their design team has gotten. I mean worgen should of had their tails by now but nope…they felt it wasn’t important yet give worgens tails in the artwork just not in game… one would hope they’re not going to deny dragons tails too. Btw love that animation…shows how well the tail may work if they put in the effort to make a tail option a thing

Any new customization is a good thing, regardless if you like it or not. I myself never liked the straight back orcs when it came out, did I say orcs shouldn’t get it? Not at all. All it showed was that it would open up the possibilities for more customizations in the future that are more than just retextured options, and Shadowlands definitely showed they can expand the possibilities. Every race should get whatever Blizzard has hinted at or shown in books and arts they themselves put out. That 100% includes tails as they’ve mentioned/shown tailed worgens in more than a handful of occasions.
