honestly, if they gave worgen tails, some of the vulpera/tauren folks might slide back on over to alliance side. maybe that’d help the faction inbalance… a smidge? lol just a smidge. lol
Werewolves, in common folk lore are not akin to anthro dog people like modern furry culture.
And no, it’s not invalid. I have 3k+ hours before heart of thorns on my charr thief, the tail clips on nearly everything at that point and the posture of charr as well also ruins many outfits outside of the one piece outfits commonly found on gem shops.
Werewolves are afflicted humans in myth, not straight up dog people. The lack tail keeps them grounded on being human still
Werewolves and tails don’t conflict.
Only 3k before HoT?
Complaining about tails that don’t effect you in the least, not to mention the request is for optional tails, is not a smart thing to do.
Though I imagine if you’re complaining about gem store armor sets you’re probably not much worth the effort.
Among my ten Charr I haven’t had any issues with clipping. Certainly nothing worse than how Shoulder armor in wow clips.
We have already gone over this in this thread. You’re wrong.

I disagree.
proud tail haver
It’s even great when you get little extra transmog bits on your tail!!
My imaginary worgen boyfriend WILL have a tail!
To the haters - stay mad.
You say that, yet with the way weapons/cloaks and animations are designed on worgens, they look like they are built for tails, which more than likely originally was if you take the concept art in to account before they had to scrap worgens entirely to cater to a loud minority at the time when plenty of people actually were liking how the worgen model was looking at the time.
Aside from a very slight cloak adjustment when idle, pretty much every single worgen animation looks like it would never end up clipping with a tail if you just place one in there, which has been proven by people who have modded in tails on to worgens in the past.
Here’s a good indication that worgen tails would fit perfectly already. Look at how high up the weapon is, and worgens chest are leaning forward when moving. Their tails would never clip the sword, or cloak if you have one equipped.
#GiveWorgenTails
That’s Bs if you’re legit denying the very obvious fact that the majority of standard armor sets in GW2 for chart don’t just have a hole that isn’t modeled properly at all.
In contrast the store outfits are tailored to each race differently like the ancestral outfit and the dragon gilding.
Worgen are already disserviced heavily with transmog, a tail will make it worse and if you’re defaulting to muh opinion and choice then the argument for precedent is also as valid and therefore your request is lame and will detract from the established silhouette of worgen of over 10 years.
Seriously you’re saying 3k hours before the first expansion is too little? My goodness, I thought I no lifed that game grinding 4 legendaries and a hell of other milestones before then but no, clearly that’s amateur even by the standards of that time.
I don’t generally put armor on my charts.
More seriously, I’ve never seen any armor with my charr that clips because of the tail. Certainly not in any way that would ever cause me issues.
Tails ain’t your problem.
Your problem is that you don’t understand universally designed armor thats free vs. higher quality and potentially distinct for every model morph armor thats paid…
Y’know because they can use time to develop it like that because they know they’re getting a set amount of money for it… in a game that is otherwise free (save for buying expansions). Good grief.
Don’t see how it would… Tails wont really affect any of the armor. Certainly not in a meaningful way that makes sense to refuse the common request for an optional tail.
You don’t want to use it, then don’t.
… I was mostly joking there dude.
Though… There is a distinct possibility I did have well more than you did. >.>
Most of the armor on WoW player characters is just a texture applied to the model, it’s not additional geometry overlayed. The last few expansions they’ve been adding a few additional pieces to make things look cooler.
I would not be surprised if they didn’t start with the draenei animations and heavily modify them to create the worgen animations.
Starting with a race that already has similar legs and then modifying it saves a lot of time.
An then give everyone a debuff called " brown spot" because first you say it then you do it when you see a worgen leaping at you
BG’s would be amazing if you could get in with a whole team of worgen. >.>
I dubbed a full party of worgens as a “worgang”. I often find myself in a worgang when running mythic+. Surprisingly a good chunk of worgens you come across when doing 15 keys.
Also I have been in a full pvp party of worgens. It must have been a terrifying sight to the hordes. No one survived that day…
I’ve often dreamed of having a full 40 man in Alterac valley all worgen all running wild towards the horde in full armor…
All of them just flooding /y with “For Gilneas!”
Would be epic.
if they had tials id lvl one
I’ve never seen this.
Maybe I’m just lucky. Haven’t done much mythic+ as of late, so probably less worgens running around now. D: But yeah, full worgen pvp parties are fun. Definitely recommend gathering up a group of worgens and doing some PvP. Always a good time!
I always see maybe one other worgen in parties with me…or worse case I end up in a group with people who talk crud to me for being a worgen. Sadly…as we can see in this thread not everyone is fond of us worgen and thus trying to oppose us getting our tails. I mean is worgen finally getting our tails such a bad idea as I don’t think so, I’d be over the moon if we got them
I think the cow would have a problem withyou about jumping over the moon.
