Actually there was some evidence the Sethrak were going to have a storyline ingratiating them with the Alliance, but it was dropped rather early as well. Umbric and Wyrmbane show distinct interest in them then never talk about it again.
Honestly I’m not sure what they were intending to pair Sethrak with directly. Horde has several other options that players would have died for. Mok’nathal through Rexxar, Kelfin through… the Kelfin…
Alliance was sitting kinda bare. Ankoan were around but if Kelfin didn’t come with Ankoan I think people would riot.
Blizzard could always have fallen back on other older races but many of them have Horde contemporaries as well.
But this is getting way off the topic of this thread.
I think they more so ment the weird people that are hard against tails for weird reasons are the insanity part of this thread.
The more support from people, the better! Whether it’s vulperas, humans, orcs, gnomes, feel free to show support! You don’t have to be a worgen player in order to show support. We all together should be in support of any kind of new options people request from other races as well. Every race deserves more options!
Sprays Cur with the water bottle. Bad Cur… bad don’t drive the little Vulpera off. Don’t make me break out the rolled up newspaper.
Sorry posters like Aco and Chespin tens to make poor Cur a bit grumpy. Everyone is welcome to have an opinion here even those who don’t agree with what we are requesting but I can get old when the same 3 gnats keep droning on with the same pointless arguments that they have already been proven to be wrong. If someone don’t like the idea of Worgen tails I’m fine to discuss it with them and remind them we are asking for it to be optional so people aren’t forced to use it if they don’t want.
I think both of you missed what I said there. Vulpera became an allied race by demand. So when you get someone who responds to something like this:
Vulpera are a case in point they are objectively wrong. So are pandaren by the way, but one could argue they were inevitable.
Their comment on insanity is a play on the quote attributed to Einstein “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Maybe that is where the confusion came from.
I like to think that the haters in this thread dont rlly care about the people asking for options more so the fact that blizzard decided to name a race worgen instead of calling them werewolves lol
Or… they just hate werewolves because they’re the better humans. They must also despise the fact that Genn is one of the people that might become the king for next expansion if anduin doesn’t snap out of his trance. All in all werewolves/worgen are OP
No, we dislike worgen-PLAYERS because they’re creepy closet-furries who would rather pretend they’re some animal-hybrid over being an actual human being. The worgen model is far too similar to that furry costume the furries wear to their conventions (just missing the tail - case in point).
Like, i’m sorry … its cringe. That’s me being 100% honest with you. You deserve the truth.
Why would we play a boring elf or human when we can play a werewolf its like the whole purpose of this game, fantasy and magic… plus idky ur still on about the furry thing when this race has been around for idk… 13 years or more if anything blame blizzard for the way they remodeled us not the players.
you’re just proving my point. If you wanna be strange, go be strange; thats your god-given right. Just dont do the surprised pikachu face when you try to put that similar garbage inside a game where many people ARE NOT furries.
The first furry race was tauren was it not im sure any furry person who played WoW in its vanilla days played tauren idk what point you’re trying to prove bit furries have been around the entire time WoW existed
The literal only thing u care about to me seems just to bully people for doing what they like to do and play what they want to play im sure u go up to every worgen u see and spit on them or report them for your satisfaction
