The 9.1.5 customization announcement is great news for worgen players who want tail options because it reverses the unwise decision to stop customization updates until after 10.0.
They specifically said it will be ongoing in patches of shadowlands, as was the original intent. So this is good.
Keep asking for updates to the existing races. They’ve been listening, and now they are actually free to do what they want.
Heres hoping they actually keep that promise too. lol
3 core things I want to see:
Other things like more wolf like ears, pure black fur, and what not can be added later but for me those 3 things are core.
would be interesting if they did for worgen and vulpera what they did for tauren…the white fur and blue hair for at least the death knights of each race. Would be wild with the ability to change your eye color as a death knight worgen. At least I think worgen DK can change their eye color…haven’t… been able to check of late. Seems high mountain is on their list for more options too but idk what those may be. Worgen getting a tail option would be lovely though, maybe nightborne able to look like night elves like void elves can look like blood elves… but only one care about atm is worgen tails. #giveworgentails
Was discussing the whole history of worgen customization issues in a couple Discord groups tonight, and I crawled back here just to say we should probably get snout options as well, akin to how the vulpera have it.
The female’s muzzle is just really short and chunky.
And I still want our actual hair cuts back alongside the tails, and the ability to change hair colour.
People (rightfully) complain about the state of Nightborne customization, but worgen are a race that literally had the full range at one point (minus the tails) then had that taken away from them. : /
Snout options would be great. A head shape option in general so that the people that liked the previous snarly chihuahua face, and the people that liked the cataclysm alpha face can get what they want.
Snout shape, actual hair, and optional tail would definitely finally make all us worgens distinct in our own way much like all the other races. You see your night elf friend, and you can tell it’s them because they always have that one hair style, that shade of skin, the markings, the face, the scars, and the vines in their hair. You see your worgen friend and can’t tell them apart from all the other worgens since worgens look exactly the same.
Worgens need more options!

The slashing animation for melee classes. People, you always forget about this. Greymane has one, why can’t the player have it too?
Give the tail option for the Worgen before any other character customizations.
Allied races are getting more customization, Worgen, and all of the other races who got barely anything (Pandaren, Goblins, Blood Elves, etc) should get more as well. Tails, piercings, hairstyles, or maybe even victorian/gothic-like jewelry for our Human form. Not exactly customization BUT being able to have a choice over fighting in Worgen or Human form would be nice. Genn can do it, why can’t we?
If they are are trying to give players customization they have been begging for to heal wounds they may need to do better but if they gonna do it anyway give us our tails please finally. They clearly listen since the velf hair request was heard and honestly I would prefer time go to this rather then taking the same time to give me a daily I do over and over till a patch ends.

This makes me wonder if they are doing it to placate us which is bad because it means they only listen when they have too and they are also doing things for the wrong reasons. Or if some of the new people they put in charge are already starting to change the direction of game design I REALLY hope its the second thing
Can someone explain the appeal of tails to me? Is is a furry thing? I don’t mind either way, I just wanna know why the request is so popular.
Honestly I’m not sure its all a preference really like to me I think worgen look a little odd without a tail but that’s all my opinion you can disagree however the more important point is if even one person wants it there is no reason it shouldnt be implemented. Its an easy change and if people want something as simple as customization the good thing for a company to do is listen to the request
They look neat.
Some feel we look unbalanced.
Some just want to look like more wearwolves.

It took a sex scandal, FF14 and the rise of streamers/content providers to give the Alliance their High Elves. I guess it would need another event of this scale to give the Worgen a proper playable race. You guys are inferior in almost every regard to us Horde-players, it is time that this changes.

The game would have been already dead to me if not the rest of my family would play it. I cannot understand how an established company is such a failure on so many levels.
Perhaps blizzard just does not like the worgen race which could be their reason as to why they wont listen to any worgen player on their game and forum…
