Could make a hat with a physics enabled copy of the worgen tail on it…sorta like a racoon skin hat. 
Once upon a time there was a Worgen, and he did stuff.
Now Worgen have a tale.
Sure thing but since the Worgen HA questline confirmed we can still infect others with the Worgen curse that needs to be a new racial we transform anyone we infect into Worgen, oh and don’t forget we don’t need a skinning knife to skin faster. 
P.S. Getting infected should force a faction change to Alliance. Blizzard could charge 39.99 for a cure that is bound to character ( one time use) and you have to pay to faction transfer back to the horde. Come on Blizzard think of the $$$

This indicates that the subject is important.
If Blizzard wants a tip on what to do to improve its image with gamers, customizations would be cheap and easy to do.
Even more when players are giving suggestions that, if made, would not influence the gameplay, not needing to apply buffs and nerfs, which always displease players.
They take less time to be made available to players, have a low chance of causing compromising bugs to the game, have a chance of pleasing rather than hindering.
Just look at the tauren. 
Although I have seen some complaining, the complaints referred to even more that there were few options for more aesthetic taste, but that could also be achieved. In any case, improvements and options were very welcome.
Therefore, ensuring that worgen can have appearances that make them more like wolves, wolves that walk like men, is something that would please players and would further enhance a race of the blue faction, which has had few attractive things for players to enjoy.
So Blizzard, heed this and other suggestions from your community, while you still have a community to please with something.
Players certainly want to have tails available as an optional customization for their worgen.

I would forget almost everything that is wrong with the company and story line in the game right now if worgen could have tails! 
I have always loved worgen but a tail would complete the look so well. It needs to at least be an option! I want to start healing with my worgen druid soon and she would look beautiful with a tail.

Not misremembering at all. It’s very much a real thing!
There are actually a lot of examples with BLIZZARD OFFICIAL tailed worgens from yeah, the concept art, the art work in hearthstone, promotional art, trailers, and more, along with the tail skeleton worgens got after the model update, in game, right now, just sitting there waiting for a tail to be added in.
Come on Blizzard, you know it, the art team knows it, the community knows it, give worgens a tail OPTION.

Many things were cut out of the game during the Cataclysm expansion.
Remember Neptulon?
Remember the worgen’s Alpha model, which was much, much better than the kneejerk model that we had to wear for a long 10 years, and they even had different hairstyles for the worgen and which in a hurry ended up being discarded?
Well the models we have today are good enough and could get better with more customizations that value the worgen.
If even fan made customizations show that it can be done, why not provide the options for us to use?

Maybe during the time they can’t work on WoW somebody can be tasked with improving their modeling skills, and then they can put some tails on worgen when they come back
