So since Blizzard said there are no more customizations for anyone, in this expansion (key bits being this expansion, and also, for anyone), that this particular item wonât happen in the future after this expansion.
That is some grade A logic leaping there.

The sad truth is that players have been asking for this for years and this was supposed to be the âcustomizations expansion.â
If they havenât done it by now, and they havenât said they intend to, then logic says their ultimate answer is
No.
Believe me, I want it just as bad as anyone.
But itâs getting harder to have hope.
On a side note, FF14 has answered player pleas and announced that male Viera will be added in the upcoming expac and female Hrothgar will be added on a later date once they finish the design.

They havenât even fixed the bug on the Worgen Heritage armor quest, and thatâs been two years agoâŠ
Indeed. They said no more options for Shadowlands, which means it got pushed back to 10.0. Also we gotta remember, this is Blizzard weâre talking about. Theyâve had a tendency to push back on previous remarks in the past and release things earlier than claimed they would. So threâs a possibility for a 9.3 customization wave release seeing as theyâve also been in search for hiring people specifically for customization options.
They even said it in the same interview that they are still looking at peoples feedback on new options that same Blizzconlie and to continue posting what we want, which is exactly what weâre doing here.

And that has anything to do with what I was saying how? It is well known Blizzard takes an incredibly long time to do anything with Worgen, see how long it took for their new look.
So them saying there will be no new customization, for anyone, for this expansion is by no means saying there would or wouldnât be tails for Worgen added sometime in the future, or that it would be soon if they do.

So if you want the tail you can have it, and if you donât you can just keep it off like you already had before.

Optional tails are great for those who donât want a tail and for those who do! Please blizzard give the worgen their tails, theyâve been asking for them for so long now. Please reconsider what you said at blizzcon and just give everyone what they want already!

In MĂ©xico we have a saying âO todos coludos o todos rabonesâ which in English is something like âOr all with tails or all taillessâ. This common phrase is used in some specific situations and it means that everyone should have the same or equivalent, no one can have more nor less.
Indeed. Which is why everyone will have the equal option to have a tail or not have a tail. Just like orcs have the option to have straight or no straight backs. Bald or no bald option. 
Also pretty sure thatâs not a common saying here in Mexico xD I grew up and lived in Mexico most of my life and never once heard anyone say that. Si todos eran iguales, worgens habrian agarrado los mismas numeros de opciones como night elfs.

Yesterday i played my Skyrim Werewolf character and was happy because I had a tail in that game.
Today I played my Worgen character and was sad because I did not have a tail in that game.
Please fix this Blizzard.

With 735 upvotes, this is a small thing that would clearly make far more people happy than it would upset anyone.
Which is precisely why it wonât happen, or will be dragged out for a LONG time.

Remember the last blizzcon when they dared to say that new customizations options got a positive feedback to the community and telling few seconds just after that nothing new will come until the end of the expansion?
It kills me that they are doubling down on anything that make the community depressed/angry (like the double KSM to force Tyranical) instead to capitalize on what please the community and new customizations option is an easy win!

Some people get in their bubble and logic canât penetrate. I have a feeling what has happened at blizzard is the corporate atmosphere has hit critical mass: Where people try harder to kiss butt than to speak their minds. Problems never even enter the discussion and everyone tells everyone else what a great job they are doing, because nobody wants to tick off their boss and coworkers with some painful but constructive criticism. This makes neutral commenters just look like view seeking trolls and not honest with their criticism.
