I’m still on the boat that we are 100% getting tailed worgens, if not this expansion, the next one. Too many OFFICIAL tailed worgens to ignore, Blizzard being quiet about the whole thing, even when some of us have straight up asked em, the fact that worgen got like no new character customization what so ever compared to the other core races. I’ll put on my tin foil hat and say, they’ve been working on tails in secret ever since 8.2.5 when it was first discovered they actually do have a tail skeleton now on their new models, which they still do. Yes, all you worgens out there, you all have a invisible tail just floating behind you, and you never realized it.
Here’s my character right now with her current transmog and the date it was taken. There’s the tail directly from the wow model itself. Tail is still there to this very day.
It’s gonna happen, I’m confident on that, it’s just a matter of when.
I’ll be optimistic and say that Blizzard was just waiting for a thread like this to make the final decision! The new models do have hidden tails so it makes sense!
Actually, us asking for tails goes in line with what Blizzard has cemented in the past, and even as of late. You have plenty of OFFICIAL worgen art with tails, and even new hair options. So yeah, it’s only a matter of time till we get said options.
Do we play elves? No. So go make a post with your elf requests in another post rather than come here and post your pointless nonsense and your bad logic that can be proven wrong.
My sub ends in about a week but I will continue to support worgen tails and other options. I still hope that blizzard will revert their decision and add more customizations in shadowlands.
I want tails on my worgen, and black fur and straight posture for my male rogue. Literally it’s all I want Piercings would also be cool. Obviously other races need more too but worgen got a depressingly low amount of options for being a core race. I still believe they got taxed because blizz assumes the human form now being customizable is “good enough”. I rarely even see that form, give me worgen options.
The sad part is the allied race people are gonna have to wait even longer. We were told that they would get to Allied races after they finish with all the core races, and a few of us still need a lot of work done. Especially worgen. All we got was just eye color and fur color. Recolors of things we already have. Nothing unique. Just look at this chart and compare worgen to even some of the other allied races above em. They are so low in the chart that a female pandaren alone, who is the 2nd lowest core race in he chart, is higher than both male and female combined.
The dream is to have just as many options as night elves…
Also keep in mind, this is a death knight. Even if eye option is missing, night elves still have actual eye options for their dk.
Before we get to tails, I really wish the worgen (and vulpera!) ears showed some emotion, too. They’re extremely static, and I wish they weren’t. Once we get mobile ears, then work on worgen tails.
We already went over blizzard adding things that are not consistent with lore/intent/whatever. As you’re a blood elf, I’ll even allow the point in spite of the mountain of conflicting evidence Cow has posted multiple times. Going by your logic we need to get rid of dark skinned blood and void elves. I don’t want this. Nobody wants this. Take your fun hating self and find another post you know little or nothing about to add your 2 cents Canadian opinion on.
There are soooooo many examples of appearance options that exist now, which didn’t before (fur, hair, and eye color additions, to name just a few). To categorically state anything “conflicts with what Blizzard has cemented” flies in the face of historical fact, and makes your assertion anything but “realistic”.
The only real way we would see people flock to Worgen would be a redo of our racial ability and go back to the beta 1% dmg rather than the far weaker 1% crit of which many races were given 2% or more while Worgen were the only core race who’s racial abilities were never touched.
While you at it Blizzard give us options like a tail, a lore correct 8 foot size and a updated racials. Thanks!
