I’d do it.

Pass on this. If I wanted to fight as a human, I’d roll a human.

I tried skipping the human form quest. Required to continue. Tried skipping out of Gilneas using “a creative use of game mechanics” still get 2 forms. :frowning:

With the new non-race specific starting zone new Worgens can start there. And any worgen at least can leave that off their bars and never use it, to embrace who and what they are.

Ah yes, the super ultra secret escape from gilneas quest. I remember someone trying to level a worgen without even becoming a worgen, got to level 46 before they got disconnected, logged back in, and was forced in to worgen form even thought never did the worgen transformation quest.

Honestly I will be cool for a option to actually fight in human form if we get that one quest that let’s us fully utilize the worgen transformation, such as being able to use the wolf form for druids without going crazy, able to freely control the form itself so you can fight in human form, TAIL OPTION. One idea I thought of was, we want cool new racials right? How about one that turns us in to a primal wolf form and we can fight in that form for like a few seconds. You go unarmed but do giga damage in that short burst.

Yeah you could escape and stay human. Until you relog and then you forced into a worgen and iirc before they hotfixed it you’d be stuck as a worgen without two forms.

I still don’t understand why people would want to do this. If you’re that hung up on wanting to stay human, just roll a human. shrugs

Or presently their heavy-set cousins, the Kul-Tirans.

I don’t see harm in the option to choose. Non infected gilnean’s are still a thing. Effectively you’d lose some racials too but the option to just be a human Gilnean would be neat. (I assume mostly folk would only use it in RP.)

If you don’t see an issue with Tails on Worgen I don’t see why you’d effectively be against folk who want to play Gilnean’s without the curse. Its just more player options.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m just saying I don’t understand the reasoning for it as looks-wise you’d be no different from any other human in the game.

RP wise you could just roll a human and say they’re from Gilneas without sacrificing racials or anything.

The option might be nice, but it just feels…redundant in this case.

If someone wants to play a non Worgen Gilneas citizen I would be fine with it the issue comes up though that they would have to redesign the racials because the current set are for Worgen and not Gilnean same thing as how on the forums we are listed as Worgen and not Gilnean.

The biggest things I would like to see is still optional tails, lore correct 8 foot size, optional posture for males, a howl rather than a roar, and last but no least the options to hide our weapons and fight with those claws.

Ah I see.

I get that. I know that the voice matters to a lot of folk. As does the name plate.

Kinda like how High Elf fans want the option to have it say High Elf instead of Void Elf.

I just think more options overall is good.

Or just leave the racials and make it so you don’t shift forms anymore. Just disabling the forced change into combat would go a long ways for most who want that option.

Its mostly for RP after all.

Some do want the Gilnean and honestly. Worgen form or no I kinda want it to say Gilnean rather than Worgen… (Though I often flip back to not liking that idea too.)

Ulitmately, and with our heritage quest, we are Gilnean’s.

Aye. I’d want these things focused on first then we can worry about letting folk have a choice to change or not.

For the same reason that someone chooses to be Blood elf, he doesn’t want to use the racials that define him as an elf, to pass as an orc.

The identification I have is Grayphus, race: Worgen.
And not Grayphus of Gilneas or Grayphus, race: human.

Choosing a worgen to deny the race itself, when can it be a human choosing a kultiran or a human from Stormwind?

We need applications that enhance worgene, not dilute what it is to be a worgen.
That pathetic quest that presents us with a butler and maid costume was already sad enough to give us something done with the least possible effort.

The alliance races need things that make them more attractive in lore and customization and no more tasteless than what already exists in the horde.

That is why we suggest customizations such as tails, better posture, ears, forms of body decoration such as earrings, tattoos, facial and body paintings, more color options for our manes.

Something that reduces Worgen to just a human addon?
It is preferable to remove the breed and replace it with a human with Dumbo ears or a prominent nose.

IMO this is why humans should be allowed to be druids. If you are a non infected Gilnean, you’re human. But I have a lot of race/class combos I’d like to see added, that post was awhile ago here: New race/class combinations in Shadowlands - #164 by Cur-proudmoore

I just wanted to see if I could avoid getting the ability that lets you be a human. No half measure curses for me! Didn’t work out.

This made me laugh. Actually what they should offer is access to the Bloodfang worgen look. So we can either be part of the regulars or the militia.

You can take it off your bars :stuck_out_tongue:

I think worgen look awkward on alot of mounts so tend to use human form if not running wild.
