Give Worgen Tails (Part 1)

WHENEVER IS CONVENIENT!
But preferably soon.

Yes! I think it is good. And it is something that will not influence the lore or give any benefit that is not just cosmetic.
The worgen model will look more animalistic.

A human being metamorphosed, acquiring animal attributes that resemble it in a beast and not a beast losing its animal attributes resembling a human.

Exactly, Druid cat form has a tail, and Worgen form is technically Pack form.

And Pandaren have a tail option and thats a good enough reason for me.

All good reasoning to GIVE WORGEN TAILS

Yes! A dire wolf-shaped worgen instead of feline would make more sense to be the DPS form of druid worgen.
And perhaps, should a Druid tauren take the form of Niuzao, when he takes on the role of a tank?

If they were to give Worgen wolf forms for cat form and what not I would swap back to my original druid from 04.

Just for the kicks and giggles of it this is my druid Asheru. This character is older than most accounts right now as she was made back in 04 as a Night Elf druid in vanilla. As soon as Cata rolled around I race changed her without a moments hesitation.

But the old models were horrid, it took me a little hesitation haha.

This is my worgen DK I’ve played for a long time, but has since been gathering dust. Give her a tail along with those pretty fur options so I feel like playing her again.

Please.

I agree but even with the second worst model in WoW’s history I still wanted to play a Worgen and made one of every class.

Except it’s not. It is the balance between humanoid and pack form, created during the War of the Satyr. It has some human features like fingers and speech, and some wolfish features like fur and claws. Now if you want to get a tail, you can certainly use Pack Form; there are the Rituals of the New Moon books and toys out there like Moonfang’s Paw.

Who’s it going to hurt to have it be an option? With Pandaren getting the option on either red or normal and males also getting it why is it so bad that Worgen couldn’t have the same option and it would be up to the individual player to choose if they want a tail or not.

So uh… this whole Shadowlands thing…

Right now in life I am a tailless worgen. Does that mean that when I die and go to the Shadowlands, I can be a worgen with a tail? I mean, that is what I identify as. (The character, not me personally. STILL, even though uh… my worgen chars have tails icly :P)

I mean if Pelogas can do that thing… why can’t I?

PLEASE BLIZZ! GIVE US OUR OPTIONAL TAILS!

Is this card official? If so, here’s another tailed worgen.

I suspect the night elf customizations are a standard for what the final arrow of choices will look like, in terms of depth. I even think we may see a new face or two for the NE males.

Assuming this is the case, what options besides tails would worgen have? Clearly they haven’t had much done for them yet.

I could very likely see:
-facial scars (separated from face)
-Probably some jewelry like humans and kul tirans
-maybe some piercings, though they don’t seem culturally super into that scene
-a full-black fur color for males

potentially:

-separate mane/fur color options
-teeth options (larger/smaller, swap canines top and bottom to be like actual canids, etc)
-muzzle options (slightly longer, shorter, wider)

Unlikely due to the amount of work required, but would be awesome:

-tail options
-standing posture option for males
-worgen form/human form voice toggle

All races:

-height adjustment (simply a +5% or -5% overall character scale, no need for proportion changes

Worgen could use a lore correct height change anyway. They are confirmed to be 8 feet tall in lore and yet in game they are 6 feet 10 inches. We know 8 foot models work just fine as Tauren and Zandi trolls are 8 foot and 8 foot 2 inches.

The optional tail would give us something noticeable for our core form seeing as a vast majority of Worgen players never use two forms unless they are role players. Yes we got a lot of look options for our human form but that’s only because Worgen human form is just a stormwind human. There is nothing unique to tell the two apart. There is a waltz dance humans do. Don’t believe me goto the mansion in Boralis and walk as a human into the dance ring. Why can’t Worgen human form use that rather than the Stormwind human dance?
