Didn’t care much for whether or not warlocks kept Metamorphosis, but I do miss the absolute silliness that was BRF-era Chaos Wave dumping, and I’d love to see that spell make some sort of return.
Chaos Wave is the coolest ability in the game and I f’ing miss it man. It’s probably why I haven’t touched MOP Classic despite it being my favorite expansion of all time that truly made me fall in love with this game.
I just don’t want another reminder that I’ll have to give up my toys when I switch back to Retail to game.
Sigh.

Because Mirror Image was a Mage spell in Warcraft 2.
Edit: a number of abilities were switched around in Warcraft 3. So when WoW rolled around, Blizzard used a mixture of WC 2 spells and WC 3 spells for the classes.
WC 2’s Mirror Image — the Mage unit. WC 3’s Mirror Image — the Blademaster hero class (which what Grom was). Blizzard went with WC 2’s lore and gave Mirror Image to Mages.
I really think funneling classes into very very specific themes is such a waste of creative brain power.
Can we have high power fantasy things like if a warrior charges it creates 3 after images that also charges and reapplies mortal strike for a reduced amount of damage on a single target?
That would be amazing. Doesn’t have to just be mage only. Lore & Gameplay are nebulous concepts.

True, but I do miss slowly turning into a demon as a lock as you use abilities.
